Bucheon bakery parking at the Daiso next door: Chamsae Bori Sikppang
In short
Chamsae Bori Sikppang, Bucheon main branch is a barley bread bakery on the Gyeongin-ro main road in Sosa-gu, Bucheon, Gyeonggi. The bakery has no parking lot of its own, so the writer used the Daiso Bucheon Simgok-dong branch right next door, which allows a 15-minute turnaround or 1 hour of free parking with a purchase of 5,000 won or more, and left with the 6,000 won Daesang glutinous barley loaf plus a financier from the Naver receipt review event. For plain bread that is neither sweet nor greasy, Chamsae Bori Sikppang in Bucheon is worth the stop.

Where to park at Chamsae Bori Sikppang: use the Daiso next door
Today I visited Chamsae Bori Sikppang, a gentle-on-the-stomach bakery in Bucheon. It's right on a main road, so there's no obvious parking around it.
Here's a parking tip! There's a Daiso Bucheon Simgok-dong branch right to the left of the bakery. You can park there for a 15-minute turnaround and dash in and out of Chamsae Bori Sikppang, or if you buy something you need at Daiso worth ₩5,000 or more, you get 1 hour of free parking. Worth keeping in mind!

Chamsae Bori Sikppang, Bucheon
Opens at 10 AM: no line on a mid-morning weekday
It opens at 10 AM! The shop is right on the main road so it was easy to spot. I heard there's sometimes a line, but luckily I went on an off-peak weekday time and didn't have to wait at all. Chamsae Bori Sikppang Bucheon is a famous bakery that won the grand prize on the TV show Life's Masters (생활의 달인) and was ranked No. 1 nationwide!

Looking for easy-to-digest healthy bread in Bucheon
I visited while looking for healthy bread that's easy on the stomach in Bucheon. The owner was so, so kind, which made picking out bread even more enjoyable. I normally love bread, but sometimes bread that's too sweet or greasy feels like too much — so Chamsae Bori Sikppang, true to its name (bori means barley), selling loaves made with barley and dietary fiber, caught my attention even more. If you're looking for a bakery near Bucheon Jayu Market, this is worth a visit.

Is the 6,000 won Daesang glutinous barley loaf worth it?
The Daesang glutinous barley loaf that everyone raves about is ₩6,000! I was curious about this loaf too, so I picked one up!

What I liked most was that even though it's healthy bread, neither the taste nor the price felt intimidating — it's a good-value healthy bakery.
🏆 TV show 'Masters of Living' and Chamsae Bori Sikppang's bread awards
Chamsae Bori Sikppang seems even more famous for its SBS Life's Masters grand prize win and its ranking as Korea's No. 1 bread nationwide. That's probably why it's often mentioned by people in Bucheon looking for healthy bread, or those who want to watch their blood sugar while still eating bread.

The pudgy financier and the Naver receipt review event
This pudgy little financier was so cute. If you buy 4, they'll pack them in a sparrow bag for you. It'd make a great gift too. As a review event, they gave me one financier (₩3,500) for free. I took part and got one, and enjoyed it so much.

They pack everything into this adorable sparrow-print bag!

The loaf came pre-sliced too, so it was easy to eat, and the crumbly texture was really nice!

✨️ How the barley loaf and financier actually tasted ✨️
When I tasted the bread, it was much plainer and nuttier than regular sliced bread — a really clean, plain flavor. My husband said the taste was clean too, haha. There was a subtle, savory barley flavor, and the bread itself was moist and chewy, so it was delicious even torn off and eaten plain. I especially liked that it wasn't too sweet or buttery.

If you're searching for a bakery near Bucheon Station good for diabetics or one that helps with blood sugar management, while still wanting good taste and price — this is worth a visit. Above all, it's a bakery well suited to anyone looking for gentle, easy-to-eat bread that doesn't weigh on your stomach. 🥖🌾
