Osan restaurant with egg-fry station and free rice refills: Dami Sik
In short
Dami Sik is a Chinese restaurant in Nueup-dong, Osan, Gyeonggi, specialising in stone jjajang (jjajang noodles served in a sizzling stone bowl). On a weekend visit made with a Naver reservation, the writer ordered stone jjajang for 2–2.5 people and dongpo pork, then used the self-serve egg-fry station at the front of the restaurant and the free rice refills from four rice cookers. With its own parking lot for about 8 cars, Dami Sik is an easy choice for a family meal by car.

Where Dami Sik is in Nueup-dong, Osan, and parking
Dami Sik has its own private parking lot right next to the restaurant building.
Our meal out last weekend was stone jjajang! I went to Dami Sik, the one-and-only Nueup-dong spot in Osan where you can get stone jjajang. Located near the Segyo 2 new town area in Osan, Dami Sik is easily accessible — even Mulhyanggi Arboretum, Osan's representative tourist attraction, is just a 10-minute drive away. The restaurant has its own space for about 8 cars right next to the building, which made driving there really convenient.

Inside Dami Sik: seating and atmosphere
The sign alone gave off a real local-favorite vibe, and the interior turned out to be quite spacious and comfortable, which I liked. Each square table has a burner set into the middle, with round stools for storing your belongings. I'd made a reservation in advance through Naver and was shown to the reserved seat.

Every table had a generous supply of small plates, sauce dishes, various condiments, wet wipes, and paper cups, so everything was easy to use. Ordering was simple through the tablet installed at the table, and Dami Sik is also running a prize giveaway event — worth keeping in mind!

Dami Sik menu and prices
Dami Sik's menu was really varied — stone jjajang, pollack hot pot, pollack organ hot pot, steamed oysters, dongpo pork, and more. If you're overwhelmed by choice, I'd recommend the set menus! With a wide range of set options, you can try a good variety of popular dishes at a more reasonable price.

The menu was divided into easy-to-read sections: meals (hot pot) / meals (noodles) / à la carte dishes. What we ordered: stone jjajang for 2–2.5 people (includes 1 bowl of rice) and dongpo pork. My husband wanted to try the pollack hot pot, but since we had our kid with us and worried we'd have too much food left over, we skipped it — and he was really disappointed about it. Next visit, we're definitely ordering the pollack hot pot! haha

Free rice refills and the self-serve egg-fry station
The basic side dishes are pickled radish, cabbage salad, and green onion kimchi, and rice is unlimited refill. There are a whopping four rice cookers! 🍚🍚🍚🍚

At Dami Sik, this Osan favorite, there's a self-serve egg-fry station set up at the front of the restaurant. You get to fry your own egg on the gas burner — it's fun! And jjajang noodles with a fried egg is a combination that's hard to mess up.

Stone jjajang, the signature dish at Dami Sik
Stone jjajang, the signature dish of Dami Sik, this Nueup-dong, Osan favorite! Instead of a regular jjajangmyeon bowl, it's served in a piping-hot stone bowl. It arrives sizzling, and the sight of it alone makes your mouth water.

Piled generously with quail eggs and corn kernels, Dami Sik's stone jjajang stays warm all the way to the end thanks to the stone bowl's excellent heat retention, so it never went cold while I was eating.

Dongpo pork braised for 3 hours, served with wasabi
Dongpo pork is another one of Dami Sik's signature dishes! Braised for over 3 hours, it had a genuinely tender texture.

The glossy, shimmering sauce soaked well into the meat, and when I put it over rice it wasn't as heavy as I expected — pairing it with wasabi made it even cleaner and better! A great place for a relaxed drink, and one I'd recommend for all kinds of gatherings — this is Dami Sik, a Chinese restaurant favorite in Nueup-dong, Osan.
