I went to a big dessert café that's close to both Yongsan Station and Sinyongsan Station, with genuinely delicious cakes!

HYBE Playground near Sinyongsan Station has a really spacious layout! There's bar seating, two-person tables, and even tables for bigger group gatherings, making it a great café to stop at after meeting up near Yongsan or Sinyongsan Station.
Isn't the HYBE Playground space near Sinyongsan Station really spacious? This is the 2nd floor — the 3rd floor has more of a bar-like atmosphere! It's a good spot for a date in Yongsan or for a quiet chat with a friend.

Restrooms inside HYBE Playground
HYBE Playground near Sinyongsan Station has separate men's and women's restrooms inside the café, which made things really convenient! There's a men's restroom on the 2nd floor and a women's restroom on the 3rd floor.
A lot of cafés don't have restrooms, or you have to use an outside one when you need to go — so if you're looking for a café near Yongsan or Sinyongsan with restrooms inside, you'll be satisfied here!

What we ordered: lemongrass brew and two cakes
I ordered lemongrass brew, earl grey fig cake, and lemon lavender cake. The lemongrass brew is a Southeast Asian-style tea brewed and steeped in-house by HYBE! It had a subtle cinnamon note, which was satisfying for me since I usually love cinnamon scents.

I was really looking forward to this since it was my first taste of a cake with figs this year! It came with quite a generous amount of fig, and I enjoyed it a lot.
Lemon lavender cake, boxed to go
The lemon lavender cake I took to go was especially good — tangy, with thick, rich cream that made it really enjoyable! If you usually love a refreshing lemon dessert, I'd definitely recommend the lemon lavender cake~~
