Yongin BBQ restaurant brisket burgers: Rustic Smokehouse
In short
Rustic Smokehouse Yongin Bojeong Branch is a Texas-style barbecue restaurant in Yongin, Gyeonggi, beside Bojeong-dong Café Street. The 37,000 won All-Day BBQ C Set included brisket, shrimp tacos, and seafood oil pasta, with buttery rolls turned into little homemade burgers. Verdict: the tender brisket and generously sized tacos were the standouts.

A barbecue restaurant beside Bojeong-dong Café Street
I visited Rustic Smokehouse Yongin Bojeong Branch, a popular spot around Bojeong-dong Café Street! There are five parking spaces in front of the restaurant, and double parking is possible when they are full.

Rustic Smokehouse Yongin Bojeong Branch is right beside Bojeong-dong Café Street! Since you can park right in front, it is nice to visit without worrying about parking.

There is a menu board out front, so it is nice to look over the menu before going in.

The interior is totally Texas through and through!!! I have not actually been to Texas, though.

They also have high chairs, so I think it would be good for bringing a baby.

We visited after the peak period, so we could enjoy a relaxed meal.

And because we had made a reservation, the basic table setting was already prepared!

Such perfectly clean tableware!

There is a self-service bar near the counter, where you can pick up shrimp crackers, jalapeños, and sliced onions. You can also get disposable gloves and small side plates.

We picked up some shrimp crackers too. They were crispy and tasty!

The All-Day BBQ C Set is meant for 2.5 people, and you can choose one BBQ (pulled pork, brisket, or baby back ribs), one pasta (pesce, Toowoomba, ragù cheese, seafood oil, anchovy oil, or shrimp rosé risotto), and one side (mac and cheese, half quesadilla, or two tacos). We paid an extra ₩2,000 to switch to brisket and an extra ₩4,000 to switch to shrimp tacos! BBQ dishes come with coleslaw, butter rolls, and French fries as standard.

Generously sized shrimp tacos and seafood oil pasta
The shrimp tacos came out first. Even though they were a side, they were huge. We grabbed disposable gloves from the self-service bar and ate them with our hands; there were several plump shrimp inside, and the tortilla and sauce worked so well together. They were tasty enough that I would want to order tacos on their own next time!

Out of the many pasta options, we chose the seafood oil pasta! It had seafood including clams, mussels, and shrimp, and the peperoncino cut through any richness so nicely. So delicious!

A homemade burger made with tender brisket
This is the BBQ we switched to brisket for! Brisket comes from the lower chest of the cow and is commonly called a beef brisket cut. Brisket is incredibly tender, right? It was so tender that it pulled apart completely along the grain with a fork!

Split the warmed butter rolls in half, add the meat, coleslaw, and a little onion, and you can make a seriously delicious homemade burger. The coleslaw especially went so well with the meat! One bite of burger, one bite of fries—absolutely gigantic deliciousness.
