Haeri-dan-gil café goods corner and two americanos: Low & Sweet

In short

Low & Sweet Bakery is a European-style bakery café on Haeri-dan-gil in Haeundae, Busan. An early morning stop at Low & Sweet Bakery meant an americano and a decaf americano, the last egg tart and a lemon madeleine packed to go, plus a browse through the wall of goods and the coffee beans on sale. The egg tart's crisp shell and soft custard make showing up right at opening worth it.

There are plenty of cafés in Haeundae, but the ones I keep going back to are few and far between. One I personally love on Haeri-dan-gil is Low & Sweet Bakery. It's got that clean, cozy European feel, and whether you sit inside or on the terrace, you leave the everyday clutter behind and just enjoy some proper tea time. Not just the coffee but the bakery items are so good that once you visit, you keep coming back — my go-to egg tart spot near Haeundae Station, Low & Sweet Bakery, highly recommend.

White exterior and terrace seating at Low & Sweet Bakery

The white walls and canopy give off a real European-street café feeling. The interior and exterior are completely my style — wood and white touches inside, and a green mint mood out on the terrace. The weather's been so nice lately that the terrace is great for enjoying coffee and bakery items outside. I had plans today so I got mine to go, but I'm thinking of coming back soon with my husband to sit on the terrace and properly enjoy this fall :)

Coffee menu and the decaf americano option

Drinks are listed at the counter, and bakery items with prices are on the wall. There's espresso, americano, today's drip coffee, vanilla latte, and non-coffee options, plus free milk or vanilla milk for kids. Switching to decaf adds ₩500, just so you know. Today's coffee was an Ethiopia drip. Since I was pairing it with dessert, I picked an americano and a decaf americano. The coffee at this Haeundae Station egg tart spot, Low & Sweet Bakery, is definitely nutty and delicious. The depth of flavor is no joke~~~~~

Why the bakery case sells out even early in the morning

True to its reputation as the egg tart spot near Haeundae Station, Low & Sweet Bakery has a great variety on offer. Even though I went early in the morning, there were quite a few customers already and a lot of the desserts were already gone. I guess showing up right at opening really is the answer for a popular spot haha! The financiers, cookies, and egg tarts all looked amazing.

True to its status as an egg tart destination, there was exactly one left by the time I got there. Managed to grab it!! You have to try the egg tart at this Haeundae Station spot, Low & Sweet Bakery. The 4-piece set is ₩15,000, which is nice for visiting a friend's place or as a dessert gift.

Egg tart and lemon madeleine takeout: how they tasted

Taking out the egg tart, lemon madeleine, and coffee~ Everything was packed carefully, and the straw is thin and stylish haha. A coffee break in the middle of a beautiful day is pure healing.

Takeout coffee and desserts packaged up

The egg tart at this Haeundae Station spot, Low & Sweet Bakery — that contrast of crispy outside and soft inside means once you start eating it, you can't stop thinking about it! Living up to its egg tart reputation, it's genuinely amazing ㅠㅠㅠㅠㅠ The pastry layers are flaky and shatter beautifully, while the egg filling inside is moist and spreads soft and smooth in your mouth. Bite through the crisp shell and you get to the sweet, silky custard right after — the texture is so, so good. That egg filling is seriously addictive~

The lemon madeleine has a subtle, refreshing tang that goes really well with coffee. If you're heading to Haeri-dan-gil in Haeundae for a date, stop by Low & Sweet Bakery!
