Solo seating and kiosk ordering at Masisso Budae Jjigae
Masisso Budae Jjigae Misa direct store is mainly set up with bar-table single seats, which makes it great for solo dining, and you order at the kiosk. Even if you come with a friend instead of alone, there's seating you can sit at comfortably for a nice lunch or dinner! But note there are only two burners, so you can each get a different stew going!

There's a bar-table area like this, which makes it feel low-pressure for eating alone.

You order at the kiosk, and steamed rice is included by default when eating in-store, but not included for takeout!

How do you pick toppings and the flavor at Masisso Budae Jjigae?
For the budae jjigae, you can choose regular or spicy, and pick from the included toppings. The default topping is half a portion of ramyeon noodles; a full portion of ramyeon or dubu-myeon (tofu noodles) costs extra! On top of that, you can add extra toppings like fried egg, ham and sausage, sausage only, ham only, cheese, rice cake, tofu, baked beans, mandu (dumplings), cheese-rice cake, sweet potato rice cake, half or full ramyeon, glass noodles, and dubu-myeon.

For drinks, they sell everything from Coolpis to sikhye (sweet rice punch), plus beer and soju! You can even have a solo drink alongside your spicy budae jjigae!

They've also got Febreze on hand for any lingering stew smell, plus desserts!

The included side dishes and half portion of ramyeon noodles! The basic side dishes are seaweed flakes, pickled radish, and kimchi. Mixing the seaweed flakes into rice is pure bliss...

How did the intestine-and-shrimp budae jjigae taste?
This time I ordered the intestine-shrimp budae jjigae for ₩14,000 at Masisso Budae Jjigae Misa direct store. The intestine-shrimp version adds the rich, savory flavor of beef intestine and the plump texture and umami of shrimp on top of the usual spicy budae flavor!

With the shrimp added, the potentially heavy flavor of the intestine gets wrapped in the clean taste of seafood. The longer it boiled, the more the shrimp aroma blended with the ham-and-sausage broth typical of budae jjigae for a deeper flavor.

And the 2 fried eggs I added! Such a hearty lunch, haha.

The best order to eat this army stew in
Eat the broth cleanly first, and once the intestine has released enough flavor, add the ramyeon noodles — eating them once the broth has really soaked in gives you the best bite.

If you usually like rich, oily, savory dishes like nakgopsae or gopchang jeongol, this budae jjigae will really suit your taste!

The soft, chewy bite of the intestine contrasted nicely with the plump texture of the shrimp, which made for a fun eating experience. Masisso Budae Jjigae Misa direct store lets you enjoy a spicy yet clean broth! If you're up for a solo budae jjigae, go for it :)
