In short
O Hyeongje Hwangje Nurungjitang Hanam Misa Main Branch is a restaurant in Hanam, Gyeonggi serving seafood nurungjitang (crispy rice soup) and Chinese dishes. A 3pm visit found the dining room quiet, and the two-person seafood abalone nurungjitang (20,000 won) arrived as crispy rice poured into a hot stone pot with a light, clean broth. With wide parking in front and a self-serve side dish bar, O Hyeongje Hwangje Nurungjitang is a dependable choice for a family meal at any hour.

A warm, comforting meal in Hanam Misa
I visited O Hyeongje Hwangje Nurungjitang Hanam Misa Main Branch, a great spot for a warm, healthy meal in Hanam Misa! With fresh ingredients and generous portions, it's a nurungjitang (crispy rice soup) place in Hanam that's perfect for family gatherings or eating out~!!
O Hyeongje Hwangje Nurungjitang Hanam Misa Main Branch is located at 616-1 Misadae-ro, 1st floor, Hanam-si, Gyeonggi-do. It's open daily from 11:00 to 21:20, with last order at 20:45, and parking is available right in front of the restaurant.

Here's the exterior of O Hyeongje Hwangje Nurungjitang Hanam Misa Main Branch! Thanks to the clean building facade and the eye-catching large sign, it was easy to spot even on a first visit!

There's a wide parking area right in front of the restaurant, which made it really convenient to visit by car. It's a perfect spot for a family meal or gathering if you're driving over.

Stepping through the entrance, there's a clean lobby space and waiting seats. The wooden logo wall interior gave off a neat, tidy feel.

Inside, there are comfortable sofa seats with tall partitions, which looked great for a private meal. The lighting was soft too, giving off a warm atmosphere.

There are also spacious table seats comfortably arranged, good for groups or families sitting together. The whole restaurant was clean and hygienic, which was satisfying.

Near the counter, various snacks and takeout products are also for sale, and overall the high ceilings give the space an open feel without any sense of being cramped.

Why 3pm is a good time to visit O Hyeongje Hwangje Nurungjitang
Another great thing about O Hyeongje Hwangje Nurungjitang Hanam Misa Main Branch is that there's no break time. My friend and I visited around 3pm, and there weren't many people at that hour, which was nice.

You can conveniently order using the tablet at each table. There was a range of nurungjitang menu items, including the signature seafood nurungjitang (₩18,000), seafood abalone nurungjitang (₩20,000), and mung bean abalone nurungjitang (₩22,000).

Besides nurungjitang, there's a full lineup of Chinese dishes too — chili shrimp (₩32,000), yurinki (₩32,000), palbochae (₩34,000), jeongabok (₩55,000), and more~!

They also had good side and set options for small groups, like mini tenderloin tangsuyuk (₩20,000), flat fried dumplings (₩9,000), a mini tangsuyuk + Pepsi set (₩21,500), and cold bean noodles (₩12,000).

After picking what we wanted, we finished ordering on the table tablet. After some thought, we ordered two servings of seafood abalone nurungjitang!

Robot servers and the self-serve side dish bar
After ordering, we waited a bit and a cute cat-shaped serving robot came up to our table loaded with a full set of neat side dishes!

Here's the tidy side dish setup the robot delivered. Served neatly in brass bowls — fresh kimchi, seasoned namul, cool dongchimi (radish water kimchi), and salad — all side dishes that pair perfectly with nurungjitang.

Oh, and off to one side there's a self-serve bar where you can freely help yourself to fresh side dishes — it was set up very hygienically and neatly, which caught my eye.

The self-serve bar had a generous amount of crunchy cabbage salad, nicely seasoned namul, and cool dongchimi, so we could help ourselves without any worry of running out.

Spicy, savory fresh kimchi, salted squid, and diced radish kimchi — side dishes to boost the flavor of the nurungjitang — were all kept hygienically.

Seafood abalone nurungjitang poured into a stone pot at the table
A staff member brought over a cart with a piping-hot stone pot, crispy rice, and a bowl of seafood broth right to our table. This was the moment the real performance began! They poured the crispy rice into the hot stone pot on the spot, then added the fresh seafood broth! With a sharp sizzling sound, steam rose right up.

As the thick, rich seafood sauce was poured over the freshly fried rice, it bubbled up dramatically inside the stone pot — the visual was really something. It's fun to feast with your eyes before you even start eating haha.

Scooping it out with a ladle, it came up loaded with fresh seafood, chunky mushrooms, and vegetables! On top of the freshness of the seafood, the crispy rice still had crunch even in the hot broth — the texture was seriously incredible 🥹
The combo of the steaming stone-pot nurungjitang and the neat side dishes was so good... Since the seasoning wasn't heavy at all, it was perfect for topping each spoonful with a bit of fresh kimchi or salted squid.

Abalone, squid, bok choy, and wood ear mushrooms were all generously included. Above all, the broth's clean, light flavor meant it never got tiring and settled my stomach nicely❤️

It was too good to leave a single drop of broth behind! In the end we scraped the stone pot clean and finished it completely, haha🥹🤪💗💗
How the light seafood broth tasted to the last spoon
This was my visit to O Hyeongje Hwangje Nurungjitang Hanam Misa Main Branch, where the fresh seafood and crispy, nutty rice came together perfectly! Because the seafood abalone nurungjitang had a clean, deep broth flavor that wasn't harsh or overly salty, I ended up enjoying it to the last bite topped with the neat side dishes. With spacious parking that's easy to reach by car, a comfortable dining space, and an all-you-can-eat self-serve bar, I'd strongly recommend it for taking your parents or for a family meal out! Whenever you're craving a hearty, restorative meal, definitely pay a visit💗
