Hannam-dong bakery café, choco chip scone add-on: Dance Dance Dance

There was a hot spot that kept showing up on my Instagram reels and feed, so I'd had it on my list for a while, and I finally went. When a place looks that pretty, it's really hard to just walk past, right? Today I'm introducing a Hannam-dong hot spot bakery café — Dance Dance Dance Hannam!

Where Dance Dance Dance Hannam is and when it opens

📍 Location and directions • Location: 261-6 Hannam-dong, Yongsan-gu, Seoul, 1st floor on the main road • Directions: it's right at the hill entrance of Hannam Five-Way Intersection, so it's super easy to find!

⏰ Hours (same every day) • Open: 08:00 ~ Close: 20:00 • Last order: 19:30 (It opens early in the morning, so it seemed like a really nice place to stop by for a refreshing start 👍)

The storefront and the outdoor tables

The exterior itself was compact but had that distinct emotional vibe, and I loved it 🤎 There were also charming outdoor tables set up in front of the shop!

It's originally a takeout-only shop so the interior is quite small, but there was a clear sign letting you know you can eat inside too — good to know before you visit 🥹

Going inside,

there were people eating alone too! And the staff were so kind, plus the goods they were wearing — hats, t-shirts — had such pretty designs that they caught my eye 👀

Looking around a bit more, there were also lots of cute little goods on display with that charming vibe. So hip and so cute..⭐️

What's on the menu board

Looking at the Dance Dance Dance Hannam menu board, the main items were various baguette sandwiches made with their delicious baguettes, and besides coffee there were various other drinks ready too ☕

On top of that, my beloved zero-sugar cola was there too, so — pass 🤍

What I ordered that day was the 'fig pistachio baguette (₩18,900)' that I'd been curious about after seeing it on Instagram reels 🤍

What I ordered that day was the 'fig pistachio baguette (₩18,900)' that I'd been curious about after seeing it on Instagram reels! I picked this one because it's made with house-made tofu cream. I also added a sweet 'choco chip scone' on top of that.

How the fig pistachio baguette (18,900 won) tastes

The look is so pretty.. figs paired with nutty pistachio

Taking a bite, the cream inside was really nutty and soft. The raw-tofu smell or taste I was worried about wasn't there at all, and

maybe because it's tofu cream made in-house, it was seriously nutty.

The fig jam inside blended really harmoniously with the cream too, so it was delicious. The fig flavor itself wasn't super dominant, but the combination of the nutty pistachio and the tofu cream worked so well that I enjoyed it to the last bite without getting tired of it.

The choco chip scone added on the side

The choco chip scone I added on had a sweetness that spread right through — the kind of flavor that properly recharges your sugar levels!

The scone itself had a very dense texture with real weight to it, and since it's a rich chocolate scone, it also felt a bit like eating a sweet, tasty chocolate chip cookie.

Waiting times and tips for visiting Dance Dance Dance Hannam

Since it's a small, mostly-takeout shop, crowds can gather during peak hours or on weekends and cause a wait, so I'd recommend visiting at a more relaxed time.

Just sitting at an outdoor table, soaking in the warm sunshine, and watching the pretty streets of Hannam-dong go by is a small kind of healing 🩵...

I think I'll be coming back here often whenever I want to recharge near Hannam-dong with a fragrant cup of coffee and a tasty seasonal dessert. Recommending Dance Dance Dance, a Hannam-dong sandwich favorite 😄
