Chuncheon sushi buffet with private rooms and dogani-tang: QooQoo

In short

QooQoo Chuncheon Branch is an all-you-can-eat sushi buffet on basement level 1 of the Two Top City building in Toegye-dong, Chuncheon, Gangwon. The family gathered there for dinner with their youngest son, out on overnight leave for the first time in two months, and picked just what they wanted: sushi, yukhoe (raw beef), barbecue ribs, dogani-tang (ox knee soup) and clam soup. With partitioned seats, private group rooms, kids' chairs and a small play area, QooQoo Chuncheon Branch works well for a family gathering.

Today was finally the day — meeting my beloved youngest son after two whole months apart!! I missed him so much~~ He got overnight leave for dinner, so we rushed to Chuncheon for a quick meal together ^^ Since he doesn't get out often, I wanted him to try a bit of everything, so we picked QooQoo, an all-you-can-eat sushi buffet in Chuncheon. Here's how our delicious meal went ^^

First photo from our visit to QooQoo Chuncheon Branch

Where is QooQoo Chuncheon Branch, and what are the prices and parking?

QooQoo Chuncheon Branch is on B1 of 80 Jiseok-ro, Chuncheon, Gangwon, inside Two Top City, the building that also houses the Toegye-dong CGV. It's open daily from 11:30 to 21:30, and offers reservations, group seating, catering/pickup, and parking.

Two Top City has plenty of parking from B2 all the way down to B6, with 3 hours free. QooQoo, a great spot for family gatherings in Chuncheon, is located on B1.

Prices at this Chuncheon buffet are ₩24,900 for weekday lunch, ₩29,900 for weekday dinner, and ₩32,900 on weekends — though weekdays currently have a ₩2,000 discount promotion running. Prices for elementary school kids and toddlers are quite low, so there were a lot of families dining together.

Partitioned seats, private group rooms and a kids' play area

The inside of QooQoo Chuncheon Branch is huge, with partitions between every section, giving the whole place a fairly private feel. Since it's close to Hongcheon, there were quite a few soldiers out on leave too ^^

Further inside there's a large room, great for group dinners or family events — a really good room-style restaurant. Since so many families come here for gatherings, kids' chairs are a must — and they even have a kids' play area, so it's a place you can visit anytime without worry.

Dinner after two months apart: what the family piled on their plates

And here are the plates our family put together. First up, we grabbed whichever sushi we wanted.

The first plate of sushi we brought back

Then we brought back yukhoe with fresh cabbage kimchi, salad, buckwheat noodles, and spaghetti — mostly things we were craving.

BBQ ribs, stir-fried udon, and corn were non-negotiable picks ^^

The clams, cooked till chewy in a rich broth, were so good I went back for a whole bowl, and we also brought back some mulhoe broth with vegetables and raw fish, though it turned out quite sour.

The gomtang, generously seasoned with salt and pepper, was chewy and delicious, and with salad, nuts, and cheese for extra protein, our family — all light eaters — was already nearly full ^^

Our family's rule is to eat well without getting too stuffed (just a little full is enough), so we only tasted a bit of each dish we wanted. We slowly worked through slushies, ice cream, nut yogurt, cake, and fruit, catching up on everything we'd missed ^^

Is QooQoo Chuncheon Branch a good spot for a family gathering?

QooQoo, Chuncheon's sushi spot and a great place for family gatherings, has a spacious dining area and a really wide variety of food. The staff were very friendly, and parking is generous at three hours free. Since it's in the CGV building, it's also a great room-style restaurant to recommend for a relaxed meal after a movie ^^
