Nicks mango juice and sedan-only parking: Selected Nicks, Gangnam café

I had a hospital appointment near Gangnam Station and ended up with some awkward free time in between,, so I looked around for a pretty café to duck into?! That's how I found Selected Nicks, a large café near Gangnam Station ♡ It's a tiramisu specialty shop that uses multiple floors as café space! Lots to look at on each floor and the space is huge, so I felt like I'd really found the right place haha

There are parasol seats out front on the 1st floor! On a nice day, drinking coffee outside there would feel really nice,,, ♡

How big is this Gangnam Station café?

What surprised me right away was just how huge this café is lol. You can use multiple floors within one building, so the phrase 'large Gangnam Station café' really fits. The basement floor and 2nd floor can also be reached directly by outside stairs!

There's an ordering kiosk on the 1st floor! There's also a menu board right next to it, so it was easy to look things over slowly and order. But there were way more types of tiramisu than I expected, so the deliberation started right there lol

The weekday 11:00–13:00 happy hour set

When I visited, the menu was all mango, mango 🥭 — must've been the summer season. And there's a HAPPY HOUR set on weekdays from 11 to 13! It's not available on public holidays, but the discount is pretty big, so it seems great for grabbing a meal with friends and then going to the café together haha. Especially the B set if there are three of you!!

And this place is actually a full-on tiramisu specialty shop..! They say they make their tiramisu using an authentic Italian recipe with fresh eggs and cheese, plus Nicks' own touch. There were way more types than I expected, so I couldn't decide what to get ㅠ There's packaged tiramisu and set packaging available too, so it seemed really good for buying as a gift ♡ On one side there were lollipops, jellies, and tin-case products too, so it was fun just browsing!

So then the real café exploration to find a seat began~ Each floor has its own space, so there are tons of seats! At Gangnam Station, when you make plans to meet someone, you often end up circling around looking for a café seat, right ㅠㅠ This place has plenty of space and roomy seating, so it was easy to settle in. Anyone looking for a spacious café at Gangnam Station would probably love it haha

Personally, the 2nd floor stuck with me the most! There's artwork hanging on the walls, so it felt a little more like coming to see an exhibition than just a place to drink coffee ✨ There are also little goods for sale on one side, so it was fun to sneak a look while drinking my coffee haha

How the iced Americano, Nicks mango juice and classic tiramisu tasted

We ordered iced Americano, Nicks mango juice, and classic tiramisu! First off, the Americano wasn't bitter at all and was exactly to my taste. After being out and about in the heat, drinking it felt like it instantly quenched my thirst! The Nicks mango juice was real mango through and through 🥭 It wasn't a syrupy drink at all — thick, deep mango flavor, and the moment I took a sip I thought, I should've ordered this ㅠㅠ Truly a mango bomb!!! That kind of feeling lol

And now, the main event — tiramisu~! Someone was packing up a raspberry tiramisu to go and I wondered if I should try that too..? I debated a lot, but decided to start with the classic since it was my first visit! I think this was my first time trying tiramisu made by soaking fingerstick biscuits in coffee, and the moist-yet-chewy texture was really surprising! It went so well with the coffee too, of course..♡ The classic was delicious, so next time I'll have to try the raspberry or choco banana too haha

Every floor has paper cups, tissues, and water bottles set out! It was oddly convenient to be able to help yourself whenever you got thirsty haha. And the wifi password is written on the floor signage, so just check there!

Private hire, plus streaming, board games and Nintendo Wii

This isn't just a place to drink coffee — you can rent out space here too! It seemed great not just for dates or meetings, but also for hanging out with friends or small gatherings since there's OTT streaming, board games, and even a Nintendo Wii. I didn't expect a café to have something like this, but it feels surprisingly well put together?!

Parking at Selected Nicks depends on your car

The parking situation is pretty complicated, so I organized it separately! The in-house lot is free for café customers, but apparently only sedans the size of a Genesis G80 or smaller can use it.

• ② SUVs, large sedans, and tall vehicles should use a nearby paid lot
• Sisa Building parking: 28 Teheran-ro 4-gil, Gangnam-gu, Seoul — ₩1,000 per 10 minutes
• J Star Tower parking: 16 Gangnam-daero 84-gil, Gangnam-gu, Seoul — ₩2,000 per 10 minutes under 60 minutes / ₩1,000 per 10 minutes over 60 minutes

Rates differ by lot, so I'd recommend double-checking on-site!

Next visit: the rooftop

Lastly, the one place I really want to check out next time.. the rooftop ♡ They say you can see wide-open sky right in the middle of downtown Gangnam! The evenings have gotten pleasantly cool lately, so sitting in the outdoor seats up there would probably feel really atmospheric ✨ I didn't get to use it this time, so next time I'll bring raspberry or choco banana tiramisu up to the rooftop and properly enjoy it haha ♡ If you're planning a date at Gangnam Station or looking for a spacious, relaxed café, give Selected Nicks a try ♡
