Cheongdam anniversary dinner with truffle fries: People the Terrace

An anniversary date really does need a restaurant with great atmosphere! This time we finally went to a place I'd had bookmarked for ages — none other than "People The Terrace," also famous as a Cheongdam dining restaurant!! The vibe was so pretty I'd saved it on Naver Maps ages ago haha. Here's my honest review (*^▽^)/★*☆♪

Where People the Terrace is and how to book a table

This place sits at the far end of the Apgujeong Rodeo luxury shopping street, so you get that stylish, upscale Cheongdam-dong dining atmosphere.

You can book ahead through Naver Reservation, so you can reserve your preferred terrace seat in advance for anniversaries or gatherings! I'd heard a lot of birthday parties happen here, and sure enough, right as you walk in there's a beautifully decorated seat set up for birthday parties..!! Having a birthday party here would feel so nice ><

The lobby fountain photo zone: the best spot for anniversary photos

People the Terrace's photo zone is the fountain at the lobby entrance. There's this really pretty, atmospheric fountain here!! This is the photo zone at Cheongdam dining spot People the Terrace.

The photos come out so full of atmosphere, so definitely stop and take pictures before heading in!! It matched so well with the flowers I got as a gift that I took like five hundred photos... ☺️

What the People the Terrace terrace seats feel like in autumn

Korea's four seasons are basically spring, suuuuummer, fall, wiiiinter, right? So we had to make the most of this autumn weather — we picked the terrace seats!! There were pretty mood lights placed on the table.

Once you've got flowers, you've got to take plenty of proof-of-date shots too~

We went with two mains and one side!

• Shrimp hot rosé pasta
• Pastry sweet brie cheese pizza

Truffle fries

Crispy French fries with a deep truffle oil aroma — total addictive human-chow vibes, kept reaching for more. The truffle flavor was so strong that even though ketchup came with it, they were plenty delicious without it!!

Shrimp hot rosé pasta

A spicy rosé pasta deepened with grilled mixed mushrooms and shrimp — the subtle spiciness with no greasiness, plus the plump texture of the shrimp, really stood out!

It's called 'hot' rosé but wasn't spicy at all, so even a spice wimp like me could enjoy it deliciously haha.

Pastry sweet brie cheese pizza

A sweet pizza on pastry dough topped with brie cheese and honey — the layered crispy dough, savory cheese, and honey's sweet-salty combo was speechless-good!!! The pastry dough made it feel extra special, haha.

Why People the Terrace works as an anniversary date course

I already love pasta, but honestly everything was so good we both ate until we were stuffed lolololol. A Cheongdam dining restaurant that nails both atmosphere and taste!
