Storefront

Muhan Paldo Daepae Jamsilsaenae Branch sits right at the entrance to the Jamsilsaenae food alley, on the first floor of the building, so it was really easy to find. The sign is eye-catching and there's a big price board right at the entrance, which had me hoping this would be good value :)
Interior and table seating

Walking in, the layout is long with plenty of table seating on both sides, and the self-serve bar sits in the middle without blocking the flow — very convenient to use.

On one wall there's a big sign explaining the origin story of Paldo Daepae's 8 special regional sauces, which shows off the brand's identity. As someone who loves too-much-information, reading through the regional sauce descriptions made the visit even more fun ;)

Plenty of grilling-friendly ingredients — bracken fern, enoki mushroom, king oyster mushroom, potato, onion, pink sausage — plus wrap vegetables, cheongyang chili peppers, and raw garlic, all well stocked.

A sauce bar with a variety of ingredients you can mix and match to your taste :)
Fried rice, sides, and Hangang ramyeon

The carb corner lineup: dinner rolls good for sandwiches, bibimbap, fried rice, and Hangang ramyeon to finish it off — perfect, and clearly explained so it's easy to follow :)
My experience at Muhan Paldo Daepae
I put the meat on the heated grill first, then went to the salad bar to gather everything else and set up :)
Grilling up all my favorite ingredients on the side — and all of it, unlimited 👍

Made lettuce wraps with the wrap vegetables, and even made a dinner roll sandwich ;)

With all the grabbing and eating, I ended up missing the sliced pork trotter (!). But there's a guide posted on how to enjoy it best, so it looked like the spicy trotter dish wouldn't disappoint — someone please eat it in my place 😂

I chopped up the leftover ingredients and made fried rice too. Lots of seaweed flakes and extra spicy sauce for that savory finish 👍

Finished it off properly with a nostalgic slushie that even grown-ups love!
Wrap-up
With a wide variety of meat, vegetables, side dishes, ramyeon, and self-made fried rice to finish, this was a lunch I got to build into my own course meal :) With its easy layout and spacious interior, it's also a solid option for group gatherings and dinners in Jamsilsaenae. If you're looking for a budget-friendly, no-pressure meal in Jamsilsaenae, I'd recommend giving Muhan Paldo Daepae Jamsilsaenae Branch a visit!
