Hanwoo sirloin set 600g with yangnyeom galbi and naengmyeon: Hantiok
In short
Hantiok Bangi (한티옥 방이점) is a Korean beef restaurant near Bangi Station and Olympic Park in Songpa, Seoul. Three of us ordered a 1+ grade hanwoo sirloin set of 600g plus yangnyeom galbi (marinated short rib), and both mul-naengmyeon and bibim-naengmyeon, filling up further at the green onion kimchi self-bar. The dining room is spacious with a playroom and room seating, so it works well for family meals with kids too.

After a wedding photoshoot we needed to refuel, so we headed to Hantiok Bangi, a beef restaurant known for great meat, to eat properly:) This time we really went all out — hanwoo, yangnyeom galbi, and even naengmyeon (cold noodles) haha

The basic side dishes were great too, so we ended up completely stuffed haha. It also seems like a good spot to visit with family for meat! There's a playroom inside for kids to play in! If you're looking for a meat restaurant near Bangi Station with a playroom, definitely consider Hantiok Bangi :)

Hantiok Bangi isn't far from Bangi Station and is close to Olympic Park, so it's a convenient spot to stop by before or after other plans. The exterior gave off a clean, tidy Korean restaurant feel haha
What's the interior like?
Walking inside, the space was bigger than I expected and overall very clean. There were plenty of traces of celebrity visits too haha — lots of autographs, and even signs marking which chairs they sat in haha

One thing worth noting — there's a separate playroom for kids! Eating at a Korean BBQ restaurant with children can get tricky once they get bored ㅠㅠ For families eating out together, this definitely seemed convenient.

What we ordered
Our main order was the 1+ hanwoo sirloin set 600g / ₩99,000, and yangnyeom galbi 300g / ₩23,000

The basic side dishes — that green onion kimchi is real
And something that quietly matters a lot at a meat restaurant... the basic side dishes hahaha. I especially loved the green onion kimchi! Eating a bite of meat with it kept things from ever feeling greasy hahaha. I love places with a good variety of side dishes — this was really satisfying haha

1+ hanwoo sirloin set 600g, the amount for three of us
Since it's hanwoo, the price is naturally on the higher side, but with a 600g set it's good for sharing among several people. There were three of us! The moment the meat arrived, it passed the visual test right away hahaha. You could really taste the signature savory flavor of hanwoo.

Some cuts were more tender while others had more chew to them, but overall the quality of the meat was good and it was a nice way to enjoy hanwoo's savory flavor.

For extra side dishes, you can use the self-bar! I helped myself to plenty of green onion kimchi :)

There also seemed to be room seating available further inside.

Added on: yangnyeom galbi 300g
It felt like a shame to stop after the hanwoo sirloin, so we added yangnyeom galbi too hahaha. We ordered it as extra to lead into the naengmyeon at the end! The sauce wasn't so strong that it overpowered the meat's flavor — instead it blended in nicely, making it easy to eat without feeling heavy.

Finishing with mul-naengmyeon and bibim-naengmyeon
There's no skipping naengmyeon hahaha. So without hesitation we ordered both mul-naengmyeon (cold noodle soup) and bibim-naengmyeon (spicy mixed cold noodles).

Both the bibim and mul versions were delicious, so you won't regret either choice!! I added extra dadaegi (spicy chili paste) to the mul-naengmyeon — it was so. good. hahaha

To sum up
The dining room is fairly spacious and there's a separate space for kids to play, so it's great for visiting with children or for family gatherings! Another thing that sets Hantiok apart from a typical meat restaurant is that you can enjoy everything from hanwoo to Andong-style pork dishes in one place! If you're looking for a meat restaurant near Bangi Station or a place near Olympic Park to eat with family, give Hantiok Bangi a try :) We ate our way properly through meat, naengmyeon, and soup haha
