A place where naengmyeon (cold noodles) comes free with your meat order! 🥩 The taste was great, but the neat, thoughtful table setting made me feel properly taken care of too — this is Manpo Galbi Yangju Main Branch. It's a great spot for a family meal, a company dinner, or a get-together, so let me introduce it.

Where is Manpo Galbi Yangju Main Branch, and is there parking?
📍 Address: 65 Songnang-ro, 1st floor, Yangju-si, Gyeonggi-do / Hours: Daily 11:00–22:00
The spacious, roomy parking lot meant I didn't have to worry about parking, which was one of the reasons I chose Manpo Galbi Yangju Main Branch.

Why book Manpo Galbi at the lunch peak, and what the dining room is like
The interior of Manpo Galbi Yangju Main Branch is modern, clean, and stylish for a Korean BBQ restaurant. Even from early lunch hours the tables were filling up with guests there for company dinners and family meals, so since I planned to visit during the lunch peak, I made a reservation first.

What comes in the 19,000-won handmade galbi lunch course
I found Manpo Galbi Yangju Main Branch while looking for a good pork galbi restaurant after seeing pork galbi on a food show recently. The reviews were good, and the fact that naengmyeon comes free with a meat order made me even more excited.

A leisurely dinner is nice too, but this would also be a great place to visit when you want a special lunch with delicious meat and naengmyeon.

Yukjeon and yukhoe served as standard side dishes
Before the meat arrived, the basic side dishes were set first, and they were impressive enough to rival any upscale Korean BBQ restaurant.
The yukjeon (pan-fried beef) and yukhoe (beef tartare) that come as basic side dishes are free, but the quality doesn't suffer at all for it. The yukjeon looked carefully prepared even just visually, and the yukhoe was clean-tasting and just as good as a main dish. I actually like yukhoe and was thinking of ordering it separately, but the amount that came as a basic side was plenty.

The other side dishes that came along were all just as carefully and neatly arranged. The seasoning was well balanced and everything tasted good, so I was satisfied with every single side dish. I thought to myself, 'this place really knows what it's doing,' and quietly promised myself I'd bring the family back here for our next meal out. 😊

How does the charcoal-grilled pork galbi taste?
Heat matters just as much as the meat itself, right? 🔥 The charcoal came out, and everything was ready for grilling. Just thinking about the pork galbi turning golden brown over the charcoal already had my mouth watering.

You know pork galbi needs frequent flipping so it doesn't burn, right? I couldn't take my eyes off the meat as it browned beautifully over the charcoal. Even the waiting was fun, watching it cook so appetizingly.

Taking a bite of the cooked meat, the seasoning wasn't overpowering and the texture was tender, so I think both kids and adults would love it. I usually prefer unseasoned meat over marinated meat, but this place changed my mind.

Doenjang sulbap and house-made naengmyeon in the set
The doenjang sulbap (doenjang rice soup) included in the set! The savory doenjang flavor with an occasional touch of spiciness let me finish the meal feeling refreshed all the way to the end.

Naengmyeon, the final course of the meal! They said it's homemade noodles, and the quality was on par with a high-end naengmyeon restaurant — I saved some leftover yukhoe from the side dishes and put it on top, which made it taste even better.

Dessert coffee and bbeong ice cream to finish
It's not over till it's over! After finishing the delicious meat meal, it's time for a sweet dessert. Coffee and bbeong-eoreum (puffed rice ice cream) come included, too!

The meat was delicious on its own, and every single one of the included side dishes was tasty and clearly made with care — it was a satisfying meal. It's rare to find a Korean BBQ restaurant like this these days, and I felt properly taken care of at Manpo Galbi Yangju Main Branch! I'd recommend it for a family meal, a company dinner, or a get-together.
