The moment you walk into Pastiar, warm, cozy lighting greets you first. The overall feel mixes modern and classic sensibilities, which made me think this would be perfect as a nice restaurant or a blind-date spot in Yeonnam-dong.

The tables are spaced generously apart, so you can chat comfortably over your meal without worrying about the people next to you. Thanks to the big potted plants scattered around and the emotional interior, every photo I took turned out great — a real date-spot restaurant in Yeonnam-dong.

First, we picked one grapefruit ade and one green tangerine ade to drink, and they were totally delicious. The sous vide steak we ordered came with tomato sauce laid underneath the meat, which was great to eat together. While working through the basil pesto and the sous vide steak, whenever we got thirsty, the refreshing grapefruit and green tangerine ades hit the spot — I could've died, haha.
