I heard Veteran General Fish Market Incheon City Hall Branch had opened too, so I went a little while ago!!!! I went with Mom and Dad, and we ate until we were absolutely stuffed! I especially loved that we visited at lunch and could have the great-value lunch specials too~~ And beyond that, it was a feast of seasonal seafood!! They even have raw shrimp sashimi, apparently~~ If you are looking for a great place for raw shrimp sashimi in Incheon, Veteran General Fish Market is it!! The restaurant was really spacious, the staff were kind, and it was just perfect! Let me introduce it (❁´◡`❁)

Outside, there were squid and fish swimming around~ Don't they look incredibly fresh? Next time, I need to get raw squid sashimi.

There were so many different lunch-special options!! We ordered albap (rice topped with flying fish roe), daegu-tang (cod soup), and the two-person live-fish mulhoe (chilled raw-fish soup)~~ We ordered four portions for three people, and it was still so affordable, right????

There is a self-service bar too!! You can pick up any extra salad or sauces here,,, but the most amazing thing is that the ramen noodles are free!! If you order spicy fish soup, you can have as many ramen noodles as you want😍 By the way, the fish-trimming spicy soup was only ₩8,000!!!

So thoughtful that they even had hair ties availableㅜㅜ Leafy wrap vegetables are so expensive these days, so seeing so many laid out like that was touching..

When I came back from the self-service bar, the owner was setting the table~~ Seaweed soup and spicy dressed raw fish came as the basics!! There was tasty makjang (savory soybean paste dip), soy sauce, and gochujang (red chili paste) too❤ And the amazing part was myeongran (salted pollock roe)!!!!!!!!!! I was sooo happy they had myeongran!

Ta-da, these are the dishes we ordered. They came out incredibly quickly!!!!! Maybe because there are lots of offices nearby, there were many office workers having lunch. Is that why everything comes out so fast...?

Ta-da, this is the live-fish mulhoe!!!! There are so many vegetables, and above all, it is absolutely packed with live fish! For an added charge, you can switch to other seafood, such as squid, so keep that in mind.

Next, the albap! It was not fake albap—it was the real deal, absolutely full of flying fish roe... Ah, I want to eat it againㅜㅜㅠ

Next is the cod soup! It even comes in a ttukbaegi (earthenware pot). There was so much fish flesh, and the broth was so refreshing that we cleared every last bit.. I also loved that it came with rice!

As you are busily eating the mulhoe, they bring out somyeon (thin wheat noodles)! You cannot leave noodles out of mulhoe, right?? I mixed them right into the remaining broth and ate it all up! I also love mixing rice into mulhoe broth, and it was wonderfully sweet and tangy.

While we were eating, we actually saw fish arriving!!! They looked incredibly fresh~~ The weather is getting cooler these days, so it is the perfect time for sashimi~~ Veteran General Fish Market Incheon City Hall Branch has amazing value, but the food is also seriously, seriously delicious—I recommend it!!!!!
