Where is Chadol Grill Magok, and what are its hours?

Chadol Grill Magok is at 16 Magokjungang 6-ro, GMG Tower Unit 123, Gangseo-gu, Seoul, a 3-minute walk from Magok Station Exit 3 toward the Magok food alley. Hours are Mon–Fri 15:00–23:00, Sat–Sun 12:00–22:00, with corkage available (fee), reservations accepted, and parking available. They even offer free parking support, so driving there works too! 🚗

You can spot Chadol Grill from far away 🥩 It's on a lively street, so grabbing meat first and moving on to drinks afterward sounded perfect!

I went as a date, so I didn't book ahead. This was actually a place I'd once considered for a Magok work dinner — instead I ended up eating twice as much ^^;;

Group and company dinner perks at Chadol Grill Magok

Chadol Grill Magok allows group bookings of over 40 people through Naver reservations, comes with a gift of wasabi rice, and offers complimentary sool-bap (rice with soju-braised brisket) for Naver reservations made before 5pm. If you're coming as a group, definitely reserve ahead.

It's such a popular Magok BBQ spot that there are plenty of seats, but just as many groups having their company dinners here too!

What we ordered: brisket yukhoe wrap, aged brisket and ghee butter king scallops

The menu looked like this :) Chadol Grill Magok has brisket as well as pork belly and beef short ribs, so there's plenty of variety! We ordered the ✔️brisket yukhoe wrap✔️ (brisket served with raw beef) and ✔️aged brisket + ghee butter scallops✔️. There's a QR code on the table, so ordering was super easy.

I've been obsessed with brisket-doenjang sool-bap lately, so it's a shame I couldn't order it,,

Side dishes and dipping sauces served at Chadol Grill Magok

Onion salad + wild garlic leaves, and sauces too — salt, wasabi, and oil-salt dip all generously provided, plus green onion kimchi and baek-kimchi (white kimchi) served as basic side dishes first :) Just so you know ahead of time, the baek-kimchi with scallop combo is genuinely great-!!! Having the scallops around made the meat even more delicious haha

How does the Hanwoo 1++ brisket yukhoe wrap taste?

First to arrive was the Hanwoo Tobul brisket yukhoe wrap — 150g of brisket with 100g of raw beef. Apparently this is the combo introduced by food expert Kang Min-kyung, and I totally get why 🩷

The meat quality was excellent, and unlike the usual thin-cut brisket, this thick-cut version had a really impressive texture!! The outside gets grilled golden and slightly crisp over charcoal, while the inside keeps that distinctive springy, chewy brisket bite-!! The deep beefy flavor builds as you chew, and wrapping it with the savory raw beef is just pure bliss,, I couldn't stop reaching for more.

Best of all, ordering the ghee butter scallops let us enjoy the brisket in an even tastier, more special way haha
