Songpa pizza restaurant with outdoor tables: Pizza Face Off
In short
Pizza Face Off Seokchon Lake Branch is a pizza restaurant in Songpa, Seoul, near Seokchon Lake. I had Sweet Potato Pizza with a cheese crust and cola on a cool evening, enjoying its generous cheese and toppings. Verdict: a fun outdoor pizza stop after a lakeside walk.

Still, after days and days of rain, it was so nice to finally see a clear, pretty sky~ We were wondering what to have for dinner, then thought, with air this nice, an outdoor table was definitely doable. Anyway, breathing in the increasingly cool evening air, we headed to Seokchon Lake and found a great outdoor pizza spot. Let me tell you about it~

Getting to Pizza Face Off Seokchon Lake Branch from Seokchon Station
Come out of Exit 1 at Seokchon Station and walk straight toward Seokchon Lake. Turn right at the LG Electronics Shop, then head in toward the Starbucks at Seokchon Lake intersection. Take the first alley, and the restaurant is immediately on the left side of Yuseong Parking Lot.

It was easier than I expected to find the first time, and best of all, it was not too far from the station haha.
Hours that work for a late dinner
They are open every day except during the Chuseok holiday. One great thing for an evening visit is that last orders are at 10:20 p.m., so you can eat fairly late! There is a break from 3:00 to 5:00 p.m., though, so keep that in mind if you plan to visit then. We went at dinner time, and outdoor tables really seem to hit their stride from sunset onward haha.
Sports-bar-style indoor seating and outdoor tables
Honestly, beyond the food, the atmosphere here was pretty memorable.

As you can see in the photos, it is decorated mainly in red and blue, which gives it a bit of an American sports-bar feel! There is a big TV inside showing sports games, so it looked like a great place to watch a match with pizza and a beer haha. Sports-related props and posters line the walls too, making it much more distinctive than an ordinary pizza place.

And what I liked most was how naturally the indoor and outdoor areas flow together! There are quite a few tables outside, so when the weather is nice, it has exactly the right mood for eating outdoors. As evenings get cooler like they have lately, eating at a table like this is such a treat, you know haha.

Once evening came, the lights turned on and it took on a totally different atmosphere from daytime. It would be great for a relaxed visit with friends, or for a date when you want something a little different from the usual. It feels especially suited to people who prefer a hip, casual vibe over an overly quiet date.

There is also indoor space where several people can sit together, so it looked fine for a group of around 10. It seems perfect for getting together with friends for pizza and a beer! 🍕🍺
From pizza to pasta, chicken, and draft beer
The menu was more varied than I expected. Based on the Naver menu, they offer 9 types of pizza, 3 pastas, 6 chicken dishes, and 6 draft beers.
- Face Off (R): ₩20,900 (signature)
- Bacon Mashed Potato Pizza (R): ₩20,900 (signature)
- Monster BBQ Pizza (R): ₩22,900 (signature)
- Double Cheese Pizza (R): ₩19,400
- Pepperoni Pizza (R): ₩19,400
- Super Combination Pizza (R): ₩22,900
- Sweet Potato Pizza (R): ₩20,900
- Canadian Hawaii Pizza (R): ₩19,900
- Half & Half Pizza: ₩31,900
It is a pizza place, but since they also have pasta and chicken, it seems good for ordering a few things to share when you come in a group. When I visited, some people were having only pizza, while others were enjoying spaghetti or chicken along with draft beer. Personally, because of the atmosphere alone, I think draft-beer fans would enjoy coming in the evening for the pizza + chicken + draft beer combo hahaha.
Trying Sweet Potato Pizza with an added cheese crust
We wanted a simple late-night-snack kind of meal that day, so we ordered Sweet Potato Pizza + cheese crust + cola!

The first thing I thought as soon as the pizza arrived was, “There is seriously so much cheese!” hahaha. You can see from the photos that it is piled on pretty generously, right? The toppings were more plentiful than I expected too, so each slice had plenty going on rather than tasting plain. I already tend to love pizzas with lots of cheese, so I personally really liked it.

And adding the cheese crust was such a good call! With cheese all the way into the edge, it definitely tasted even better haha. I am usually not a huge fan of the leftover crust at the end of a slice, but the dough here was not dry and tasted good on its own. With the added cheese crust, I could enjoy it all the way to the end! If you like pizza loaded with cheese, I think it will suit your taste.

Ordering was convenient too, since they use a table-order system. You can take your time looking through the menu at your seat and order what you want right away, which seems especially handy for groups. The restaurant has such a casual feel that this system suited the space really well too haha.
Reservation tip before an evening outdoor-table visit
Naver reservations are available too! They say you can enter without waiting if you reserve before visiting, so I recommend booking ahead if you are going on a weekend or in the evening. As the weather gets cooler, I think more people will want to eat outside in the evening, so there could be a wait during popular times. If it were me, I would reserve for dinner!
An outdoor pizza stop after a Seokchon Lake walk
Pizza Face Off Seokchon Lake Branch was great for the pizza, but above all, its distinctive atmosphere is what stayed with me. With its hip sports-bar-style interior and outdoor tables, it felt a little different from the usual pizza restaurant haha. Especially on days when the evening air is turning cool, a Seokchon Lake walk → pizza at an outdoor table would be the perfect course. If you are looking for a good outdoor-table spot near Seokchon Lake and love pizza, it is worth a visit 🍕💙 Go enjoy the outdoor seating before the weather gets cold~~!
