I had such a delicious meal of snowflake ribs and haejang teolleogi sujebi at Dangsan Odol Bangi Branch near Bangi-dong, haha. The snowflake ribs were tender yet wonderfully chewy, and the savory juices spread richly through my mouth the moment I took a bite. Adding the haejang teolleogi sujebi, with its spicy yet deeply savory broth, made for a really substantial and generous meal!
An easy-to-find location near Bangi Station and the restaurant atmosphere
Dangsan Odol Bangi Branch is about a 3-minute walk from Exit 4 of Bangi Station on Subway Line 5, so it was really easy to reach by public transportation.

Its neat, clean sign is easy to spot from the street, so I found it right away without getting lost, haha. The entrance already felt clean and tidy, and I walked in with a happy little sense of anticipation.

Inside, the space was quite roomy and pleasant, with generous spacing between the tables, so it felt comfortable! Warm lighting and wood finishes came together nicely for an overall cozy, calming atmosphere. The ventilation system also quickly drew away smoke from the grill, keeping this Korean BBQ restaurant clean and free of greasy buildup, haha.
Charcoal-grilled snowflake ribs
Looking over the menu slowly, I saw a well-rounded selection ranging from grilled specialty pork cuts to filling meal dishes. On this visit, I started with snowflake ribs, one of Dangsan Odol's signature popular dishes.

Right after ordering, the neatly arranged side dishes arrived along with snowflake ribs on a plate, their bright-red marbling standing out beautifully. Once I placed the meat over the hot charcoal, the sizzle and gentle savory aroma had my mouth watering!

I picked up a golden-grilled piece of snowflake rib and took a bite, and savory juices burst out from its tender texture, haha. Even around the bone, the meat came away easily when I cut it with scissors, making it nice and easy to eat.

I could pick cleanly and deliciously at every bit attached to the bone without wasting anything, which made me even happier! True to its reputation as a Bangi Station Korean BBQ restaurant, the meat itself was fresh and had no unpleasant odor at all. The naturally savory flavor of the snowflake ribs was so well balanced that I never got tired of them.

A little meljeot (fermented anchovy sauce), wasabi, or salt made the flavor even deeper! I could feel the care that went into preparing every dish, making Dangsan Odol Bangi Branch an even more enjoyable place to eat, haha.
Haejang teolleogi sujebi after the barbecue

After enjoying the meat, haejang teolleogi sujebi arrived bubbling away in a large earthenware bowl, generously filled to the brim. One spoonful of the broth, packed with dried shrimp and vegetables, felt as though it cleared out all that heaviness inside!

The hand-torn sujebi (hand-pulled dough flakes), made with mulberry-leaf powder, were chewy and fun to bite into, and the broth was seasoned just right. It was a star menu item at this Bangi Station favorite, neatly washing away the richness after fatty grilled meat, haha.

The deep, savory doenjang (fermented soybean paste) broth was excellent, so even though I was already quite full, it was hard to put my spoon down. It was a generously portioned special meal with such a deep broth that I definitely recommend ordering it alongside your barbecue!
When you are craving barbecue and sujebi together
If you want tender, satisfying meat along with sujebi in a deeply flavored broth near Bangi-dong, Dangsan Odol Bangi Branch seems like a great choice. The friendly staff and comfortably maintained dining room made my time there relaxing and satisfying, haha. I would strongly recommend this Bangi Station Korean BBQ restaurant to anyone looking for a properly cheerful, delicious meal!
