What we ordered: mixed katsu set and sweet potato cheese katsu
After sitting down, I carefully browsed through the full menu using the handy table-order kiosk at each table, haha. After some thought, I ordered the mixed katsu set (₩13,900) and, as a nice side to go with it, a single order of sweet potato cheese katsu, 2 pieces (₩7,400).

After ordering, they brought out a cool, nutty barley tea by default while I waited — a nice way to cleanse the palate before the meal, haha.

Mixed katsu set (13,900 won): what comes on the tray
Soon after, the mixed katsu set (₩13,900) arrived neatly arranged on a tray, and the presentation alone made my mouth water.

The katsu pieces were laid out neatly, each coated in a clean, crispy breading,

and alongside sat warm rice, miso soup, a cabbage salad with a tangy dressing, and a special dipping sauce, all neatly plated.

I picked up a piece of katsu with my chopsticks, dipped it lightly in the sauce and took a bite — crispy on the outside, while the meat inside stayed moist and had a clean, savory texture, haha.

The natural savoriness of the meat balanced nicely with the savoriness of the frying, and it was great served over rice.
Sweet potato cheese katsu, 2 pieces (7,400 won)
The additional side order of sweet potato cheese katsu, 2 pieces (₩7,400), was also a satisfying treat. Inside the thick, golden-fried katsu was generously packed with soft, nutty cheese and sweet, smooth mashed sweet potato, haha.
The sweet-and-salty combination in the first bite was really appealing, and the nuttiness of the cheese wrapped gently around my palate.

Alternating bites between the savory mixed katsu set and this sweet, soft sweet potato cheese katsu in between made the meal feel even richer, haha.

They also offer other menu items — a nostalgic old-school western-style pork katsu set, a triple mixed katsu for tasting various cuts at once, and a kimchi eomuk (fish cake) udon that cuts through the richness — plenty of choice at this Chuncheon set-meal spot!
