Grand Central B3 sandwich shop near Seoul Station: Dance Dance Dance

In short

Dance Dance Dance Seoul Station is a sandwich and brunch shop on basement level 3 of Grand Central, next to Seoul Station in Jung-gu, Seoul. While waiting for a weekend train, the writer used the kiosk to order the signature chicken sandwich, the seasonal corn tofu cream cheese baguette and a coffee. The shredded chicken came loaded with a coleslaw-like sauce so it was never dry, making Dance Dance Dance a place worth returning to on any trip through Seoul Station.

I'm basically a Korail VIP at this point haha. I went to Seoul Station on a weekend to catch a train and got hungry, so I wandered around nearby. Finding a good restaurant around Seoul Station is harder than you'd think, but I stumbled onto a great one. I was looking for something simple but filling, and if you're waiting for a train like me or want a nice brunch nearby, you should definitely check this out! I ate so well I rushed to write this up.

Entrance to Dance Dance Dance Seoul Station inside the Grand Central building

The place I visited was Dance Dance Dance Seoul Station, already famous as a brunch spot in Grand Central. Since the building is full of corporate offices, it had a modern feel that seemed perfect for a date too — quite a substantial atmosphere. It's also easy to find, so first-timers shouldn't get lost.

Weekend afternoon atmosphere: a high-ceilinged basement space

Walking into Dance Dance Dance Seoul Station, the interior was really stylish and felt open, which I loved. Is there another brunch spot near Seoul Station this comfortable? It was wide open with high ceilings, which was great. Even on a weekend there were quite a few people!

I guess a lot of people come for lunch. I wonder if the shared tables mean you might end up sitting with strangers...? Once the weather gets nicer, grabbing a sandwich and coffee to eat at a nearby park sounds nice too.

Browsing the bread before ordering~.~ I already knew what I was going to eat on the way here, but the other breads looked so good too.

Kiosk ordering at Dance Dance Dance, easy for introverts

Dance Dance Dance Seoul Station lets you order via kiosk, which is perfect for introverts~ Grab a seat first, then blast through your order. Living up to its name as a sandwich spot near Seoul Station, the menu lineup was solid.

You can't have a sandwich without coffee, so I ordered that too.

A cup of coffee on the table

Dance Dance Dance's signature chicken sandwich, and the seasonal corn tofu cream cheese baguette. At a restaurant I'm trying for the first time, I always order the signature dish or the owner's recommendation haha. Or the most basic menu item! That way the odds of failure drop dramatically.

What does the chicken sandwich taste like? A coleslaw-style sauce

First up, Dance Dance Dance's signature chicken sandwich! This was seriously, genuinely, delicious. It's not the signature menu for nothing;; On weekdays I eat chicken breast every lunch for my diet, so honestly I didn't really want to order this one. But I would've regretted skipping it. So moist and refreshing.

Since the chicken is shredded finely, there's absolutely no dry feeling, and the sauce is kind of coleslaw-like, which is totally my type (I love coleslaw). If this is what chicken breast tastes like, I could eat it every lunch. If you visit for the first time, you really have to try this. Highly, highly recommend ⭐️⭐️

Seasonal corn tofu cream cheese baguette: you can't taste the tofu

Next, the corn tofu cream cheese baguette! It's apparently a cream cheese made with actual tofu, but I couldn't really taste the tofu specifically, so even people who don't like tofu could probably eat it. The sauce is sweet-ish, the kind that pairs well with coffee.

You can also swap the bread here, and I think this sandwich would suit a softer bread better, since it leans sweet. Of course it's still good with the baguette. Eating something refreshing first and then something sweet like this made for a great combo haha. Goes great with coffee too.

Verdict and visiting tips for Dance Dance Dance Seoul Station

A tip for visiting Dance Dance Dance Seoul Station: it can get crowded during weekday or weekend peak hours. Still, it's famous enough as a Grand Central brunch spot that the wait shouldn't feel wasted.

The sandwiches came with a generous amount of sauce, which made for great savory flavor. Addictive taste, honestly. If I worked in this building I'd probably come here all the time. Next time I have a reason to be at Seoul Station, I'm definitely coming back! I plan to try everything here one by one until I've conquered the menu.

The staff were all so kind and the food exceeded expectations, so I was really, really satisfied. If you're looking for a good spot near Seoul Station, I definitely recommend stopping by!!
