Hannam-dong hair salon with a full-body massage shampoo chair — my color review of ONLY FOR YOU Hannam. My gray hairs kept creeping up on me, and I kept putting it off, but on a Wednesday with no lessons, after getting my nails done at Goto Mall in the morning, I decided to try coloring my hair at ONLY FOR YOU in Hannam-dong~

I was super happy with my hair at the ONLY FOR YOU Jamsil-saenae branch, done by the 'short-hair king' director. I remembered the director mentioning they also have a Hannam-dong branch, and since I had plans in the Hannam area, I quickly booked an appointment~ So here's my color review at the Hannam-dong hair salon with the full-body massage shampoo chair, ONLY FOR YOU Hannam.

It's on the 3rd floor of Hyundai Liberty House, right next to Paul Bassett at Hannam-ogeori. Since it's a residential-commercial building, it can be a bit confusing with the apartment entrance^^;; Just go through the revolving door and take the elevator up to the 3rd floor!

Right by a bus stop in Hannam-dong~ About a 7-minute walk from Hannam Station on the Gyeongui-Jungang Line. GOOD accessibility~!! Parking for up to 250 cars~ (3 hours free). Open from 11am to 10pm, so you can easily drop by after work too!!

You see the salon right as you step off the elevator, so it's easy to find. One interesting thing is there are two entrances — seems like the space is divided by which designer you're seeing.

The full-body massage shampoo chair is the highlight

The Jamsil-saenae ONLY FOR YOU also had a full-body massage shampoo chair and it was so nice, and now getting a full-body massage plus shampoo care in Hannam-dong too made me completely happy!! This is the whole point of ONLY FOR YOU!

I had my color done by designer Bandal at ONLY FOR YOU Hannam, and to cut to the conclusion — totally satisfied!! The designer was so kind and the consultation was really thorough~!!

The designer asked me about the tone and color I wanted, and went through a thorough consultation using a color chart. She recommended a color that would cover the red undertones while balancing the overall tone, so I picked the color she recommended as the final choice!

You order drinks via QR code, and they also have toast and mini hotteok (Korean sweet pancakes) prepared, so I could enjoy snacks too.

I hadn't had lunch so I was a bit hungry, and while the color was processing, I relaxed with an iced americano and toast spread with strawberry jam. Healing time.

After the color: scalp massage and finish

Here's the dry, faded before and the neat, clean after~!!

During the shampoo, she gave my scalp such a refreshing massage that it felt like all the day's fatigue melted away!! She massaged my scalp so thoroughly that even after the shampoo, my whole head felt a level fresher and lighter~ She finished up with a beautiful blow-dry, and the overall hairstyle turned out exactly the way I wanted, which made me so satisfied.

I had plans nearby right after, and my friends kept saying my hair color looked so pretty and the blow-dry suited me so well, which put me in an even better mood~~!! From the color to the scalp care to the blow-dry, everything was handled so carefully — felt like I got a truly satisfying hair transformation after a long while.
