This is helpful Chacha! ʕ•ᴥ•ʔ Two moms of two, meeting up in Gangnam Station for the first time in a while, went out for brunch. Here's 'Moa Gangnam,' a Gangnam Station Korean restaurant that was a treat for both the eyes and the mouth with its fusion Korean menu!

What kind of place is Moa Gangnam?

Moa Gangnam is a modern fusion Korean restaurant built on traditional Korean cuisine with a touch of Western sensibility added. It's a place that gathers the flavor of nature, the warmth of people, and the flow of time onto one plate. The modern interior, warm lighting, and tables all make the plated dishes shine.
How far is it from Gangnam Station?
It's a 5-minute walk from Gangnam Station Exit 11, so it's very easy to get to.

As soon as you step inside, you see the open kitchen. You can also pair wine, sake, and traditional Korean liquor with the food, which turns the meal into more than just a meal — it becomes a special experience.
The menu lineup
Let's take a look at Moa Gangnam's menu.
- Noodles
- Rice dishes
- Main dishes
- Sides
- Drinks and alcohol

The dishes harmonize a Korean base familiar to Koreans with Western sensibilities. There's a full menu you can enjoy comfortably with family, partners, friends, or colleagues. It would also be a meaningful place to bring a foreign friend along (Global Korea! 😋).
What we ordered and how it tasted

Our order arrived.
- Salmon avocado bowl ₩15,800
- Spicy tomato Hanwoo cheese tteokgalbi ₩19,900
- Gondre cream sujebi ₩14,800
- Bokbunja ade ₩6,900

Salmon avocado bowl
This is the salmon avocado bowl. Soft salmon meets avocado for a fresh, light taste. You mix it up with the soy sauce that comes on the side, adding as much as you like.

Of everything we ordered, this had the most familiar flavor, so it was comfortable to eat.

Spicy tomato Hanwoo cheese tteokgalbi
This is the spicy tomato Hanwoo cheese tteokgalbi (grilled short rib patties). It comes with juicy Hanwoo (Korean beef) tteokgalbi in a spicy-sweet tomato sauce, plus a poached egg. Bread is served alongside.

There were two big chunky tteokgalbi patties..! Tteokgalbi in Korea is usually soy-sauce based, so tteokgalbi covered in a spicy tomato sauce was oddly delicious. Spreading the sauce mixed with poached egg over the bread was also a treat.

Gondre cream sujebi
This is the gondre cream sujebi (hand-torn dough soup). Nutty gondre (thistle greens) is stir-fried over high heat and topped with a rich cream sauce — a Korean-style cream sujebi! It also has oyster mushrooms, shrimp, perilla powder, and chili added for extra flavor.
A meeting of East and West in one bite! Of the three dishes, Chacha's pick is this gondre cream sujebi. Scooping up the generous gondre together with the cream sujebi is really delicious. My friend who came along also kept reaching for it, saying she didn't know why but she couldn't stop, haha.

Taking turns through the three main dishes and washing it down with the cool, sweet bokbunja ade in between kept the food coming 👍🏻

Our pretty second baby fussed a little from sleepiness, but once I picked her up and soothed her, she fell asleep next to us so mom could eat well 🥰
How about it as a Gangnam meetup spot?

That's the review of 'Moa Gangnam,' a great restaurant for a Gangnam Station date or meetup. Coming to Gangnam Station, you're always a little torn over which of the countless restaurants to pick, right? Come to Moa Gangnam, where you can enjoy Korean and Western flavors in harmony 🤍
