Hi, we're just an ordinary couple~!
Once you clock out of work, the first thing on your mind is what to eat for dinner, right? It's gotten noticeably colder lately, so I kept craving something warm and juicy — bossam (boiled pork wrap). My husband and I had a quick errand in Sindorim after work, so we decided to grab dinner there before heading home. That's when we found a place called Sambaekga where we could get bossam nearby.
Sambaekga is known as a go-to spot for jokbal and bossam near Sindorim, so here's our full review.
First impressions of Sindorim Sambaekga near Sindorim Station

Sindorim Sambaekga has a floor-to-ceiling glass front, so you can see inside from the street, and the whole place felt bright and open. It seemed much more suited to a family meal than to a spot for drinks.
The sign out front announced in big letters that it's a bossam, jokbal, and kalguksu specialty restaurant. The standing sign by the entrance listed business hours along with the shop's confident selling points — bossam made with heritage persimmon-fed pork and jokbal from a Josun Hotel chef — and honestly, my husband and I, already hungry, got even more excited before we even walked in. If you're looking for a solid spot for jokbal and bossam in Sindorim, this place is worth a visit.
How tablet ordering at every table works

At Sambaekga, once you sit down, you can order right away using the tablet at each table. Scrolling through the menu, there was a wide range — samback bossam, samback jokbal, half-and-half front leg, and even kalguksu. Prices for the Busan naengchae jokbal, samback jokbal, samback bossam, and samback special set all popped up right on the screen, which made choosing so much easier.
We ended up ordering the samback bossam. We got the large size, and it turned out to be just the right amount for two people.
Sambaek bossam made with Sangju Yakgam pork

A phrase on the wall caught my eye: 'Tastier, and healthier.'

According to the sign, the samback bossam is made with pork raised on Sangju persimmons, plus pork belly finished with mulberry leaves — a favorite of silkworms — for a healthy, deep flavor. Just reading that got me even more excited before the food arrived.
There was also a note about the jokbal, apparently perfected after countless rounds of research by a Josun Hotel chef, which made me think we definitely need to come back and try the jokbal next time.
While we waited, a staff member brought out the samback bossam, still warm, and the thick-cut slices of meat looked so tender at a glance that my husband and I took photos before even picking up our chopsticks.
Side dishes and the free naengchae bossam

The basic side dishes came out clean and simple: chive salad, dried radish strips, and kimchi. There were also three separate sauces — shrimp jeotgal, ssamjang, and garlic sauce. The complimentary naengchae bossam, with its tangy mustard sauce, was more than enough to whet our appetite.
With egg strips and cucumber strips on top, it looked refreshing, and our chopsticks kept reaching for more. It was a welcome starter that woke up our appetite before the main dish arrived.
Wrapping the pork in fresh vegetables: a filling spread

The wrap vegetables came out generously — cabbage, lettuce, perilla leaves, cheongyang chili peppers, and garlic. Putting a bit of ssamjang on the thick bossam meat and wrapping it up in one bite gave a tender, clean flavor with no gamey smell, and I couldn't stop reaching for more.

Adding garlic and cheongyang chili for a spicy kick made it go down smoothly without any greasiness. We took turns wrapping a piece of meat in perilla leaf with a dab of ssamjang.
Who Sindorim Sambaekga suits best
If you're looking for a comfortable atmosphere for a casual dinner with family or a partner, Sambaekga should satisfy you as a go-to spot for jokbal and bossam near Sindorim.
The restaurant is bright with plenty of space between tables, and we saw families with kids dining comfortably too.
Final verdict on Sindorim Sambaekga

If you're looking for jokbal and bossam near Sindorim, I'd recommend Sambaekga. The relaxed atmosphere and carefully prepared side dishes made it feel like a great option for a family meal too. Filling up on a hearty dinner with my husband on a cold day left us feeling warm inside. The bossam was even better than expected, so next time we're definitely coming back to try the jokbal the Josun Hotel chef spent so much time perfecting.
