Daily Fix, a Gangnam burger spot my boyfriend's loved for ages! 🍔 We'd been to the Euljiro branch together before, but this time I was craving a burger near Yeoksam Station, so we went to Daily Fix Gangnam Main Branch haha

Thanks to the bright yellow awning sign, you can spot it from far away at a glance.

🇺🇸 A New York diner vibe & the upstairs space

We visited once the summer heat had eased and the weather was nice, and they had the big glass front wide open! There was a nice breeze and the atmosphere was amazing haha

Besides the first floor, there's a cozy second-floor space too, which makes for easy, relaxed dining, and the soft lighting and stylish interior make it feel like you've stepped into a diner in New York City. In the evening the lighting makes the mood even better, so it seems perfect for a date or a casual whiskey, highball, or draft beer! (By the way, they run a Stella draft beer 1+1 happy hour every day from 5 to 7pm 🍻)

You can order and pay conveniently using the tablet at each table. Daily Fix is also famous for the burger featured by YouTuber Tzuyang! Since the brand was created by chefs who graduated from the CIA in the US and worked at Michelin 3-star restaurants, not just the burgers but the variety of sides and sandwiches really stood out too.

On our visit to the Euljiro branch, I loved the truffle mushroom burger and the chicken burger so much, so this time I focused on ordering the new menu items and signatures I hadn't tried yet!

[NEW] Patty melt ₩12,900

Between crisp, plainly grilled rye toast is a 100% Korean beef (hanwoo) patty, two slices of Swiss cheese, and a generous helping of deeply caramelized onions!

I love patty melts normally so I had high expectations, and the combo of crispy toast, rich juicy patty, salty cheese, and sweet onion was bold and full of flavor — it was really delicious haha

Pastrami sandwich ₩15,900

A sandwich piled with pastrami that's been carefully cured and smoked for over 80 hours!

Inside the chewy ciabatta bread, crunchy red cabbage pickles and a sharp horseradish sauce cut through what could otherwise be a rich, heavy meat flavor and keep it clean.

You can really taste an authentic American local style here, so this is a menu item I strongly recommend

Chili cheese fries ₩11,900

I remember loving the fries so much on my last visit that this time I ordered them as chili cheese.ᐟ.ᐟ

They say the special chili sauce was passed down to the chef by his Mexican roommate's grandmother during his time studying in the US, and the combination of melting cheese, rich chili sauce, and crispy fries was so delicious 🍟

Drinks (Zero Coke / Zero Sprite) ₩2,900 each

We also ordered the zero-sugar drinks that are a must with burgers, and it was even better that the drinks came with free refills!

With a great atmosphere for a weekend date and, likely thanks to the touch of Michelin-trained chefs, an incredibly high level of finish from patty to sauce to bread, this is a standout handmade burger spot near Yeoksam Station.
