This time I went looking for a bar in Hannam-dong with a slightly different vibe from usual and ended up at EOD Hannam. Unlike a typical bar, this is a place where you can enjoy shisha (hookah) too, so I'd wanted to check it out for a while, and finally went with a friend.

If anything it leans casual, so I don't think it'd feel awkward at all to show up in comfy clothes.

Every object and piece of furniture inside felt carefully chosen, and the tables and chairs were prettier and comfier than what you'd find at a typical bar, so it was comfortable to sit for a long time 😌

There's a shared restroom inside the venue too, and it's really clean with nice interior — no need to worry about that! Looking around, there was also a room-like separated space, where I saw people vaping shisha while working on their laptops. That alone told me how comfortable and casual the overall vibe here is.

Best of all, my friend, who'd smoked cigars occasionally but never tried shisha before, said it was way better than expected haha. She kept saying 'I shouldn't get addicted to this'... while continuing to smoke it.

And then the old fashioned, which felt like a bit of a challenge for someone as lightweight a drinker as me. I usually go for sweet, easy-drinking cocktails, so I was a little worried about the old fashioned's strength and sharp alcohol smell, but it turned out better than expected haha.
