Gongdeok Station bakery: yuzu financier & raspberry madeleine, Fluffy

Fluffy Bake Shop is right near my office, so I stop by whenever I'm craving something sweet! This isn't a one-off or two-off visit — I've been there again, and again, and again. It's a Gongdeok Station dessert spot with such a wide variety of financiers and madeleines, including flavors you don't see many other places, that anyone who loves baked goods should check it out at least once. These days I barely think twice before grabbing my favorite menu items first haha.

Where is Fluffy Bake Shop, and is there parking?

Fluffy Bake Shop is located in the Gongdeok SK Leaders View Complex 2. It's easy to reach from Gongdeok Station, and you get 1 hour of free parking if you use the building's basement lot, so it's fine to come by car too!

Since it's near my office, I often drop by on the way home from work — the shop itself isn't a huge bakery café.

There are about 4 seats inside, but from my many visits, it feels less like a café where people linger and more like a place where people pick out pastries to take away. That said, they do have coffee and drink menus, so it's also good for a quick drink stop nearby.

What baked goods does Fluffy Bake Shop sell, and how much?

Fluffy Bake Shop has baked goods and salt bread made in-house. There are a whopping 16 kinds of madeleines alone, 9 kinds of financiers, and even 3 kinds of canelés, so it's fun to choose, and it's easy to grab something new each visit haha.

Prices are mostly in the ₩3,000–4,000 range, so it's easy to pick up several different kinds to try. The Dubai egg tart is the one exception, priced a bit higher at around ₩7,000!

What I really like is that it's not just the usual basic financiers or madeleines — the variety itself is pretty impressive. Even after several visits, there are still menu items I haven't tried yet!

Yuzu financier and raspberry madeleine: the two picked every visit

Still, the two things I buy almost without fail every time are the yuzu financier and the raspberry madeleine. Both are things I tried here for the first time and got completely hooked on haha. The yuzu financier especially has that buttery flavor typical of financiers, but with yuzu's signature tartness added in, so it never feels too heavy or greasy. The raspberry madeleine also has a sweet-tart flavor, and personally I like it way more than the basic madeleine.

So even when I go in telling myself I'll try something new, I always end up buying these two together lol. Of course I've tried quite a lot of other things too, and so far I haven't had a real miss, so overall I'd recommend this place to anyone looking for a good dessert spot in Gongdeok.

I stopped by casually at first just because it's near my office, and honestly I've lost count of how many times I've gone back lol. With so many varieties, it's fun to pick and choose, and gift sets are available too, so if you're looking for a good restaurant near Gongdeok Station, a Gongdeok dessert spot, or financiers that make a nice gift, I'd recommend Fluffy Bake Shop. If it's your first visit, I'd personally recommend starting with the yuzu financier and raspberry madeleine! I'll probably pick something new next time too, but I'm sure I'll end up buying these two again as well haha.
