Dongdaemun vintage in Seoul — the 5th floor of the Dundaun Dongdaemun building, Viva Trade Eulji. All the photos and writing here are from my own visit.

Where is Viva Trade Dongdaemun and what are the hours?

Silver metallic entrance and the revolving gate

Stepping onto the 5th floor, the silver metallic interior grabbed my attention right from the entrance.

There's a stainless steel turnstile gate that looks like a subway ticket gate, which gave the entrance a unique, hip vibe. Since it's inside a shopping mall, it felt so much cleaner and more upscale than your typical street vintage shop!
What does the inside of Viva Trade feel like?
Walking in, I was surprised to see a giant silver globe mirror ball spinning in the center of the store with 'VIVA' lit up on it!
The walls are finished entirely in rippling mirrored material, giving it a really trendy, stylish atmosphere. The ceilings are high, the lighting is super bright, and there's plenty of space between the racks, so pushing a shopping cart around was really easy.

There was none of that musty smell or dust you usually get in secondhand stores, so I could browse comfortably the whole time.
Clothing lineup: Burberry, Brooks Brothers and Polo
Labels like 'BLOUSE,' 'SKIRT,' and '50%' were marked at the top of the racks, making it easy to find whatever category I wanted. From imported brands like Burberry, Brooks Brothers, and Polo to everyday pieces, the sheer quantity was amazing.

They said hundreds of new pieces come in every day, and each one goes through washing and high-temperature steam care before being displayed, so I felt reassured about hygiene too. Unlike digging through the Dongmyo vintage street, everything here was neatly sorted, which made the treasure-hunting part really fun.
Bags and accessories corner
It's not just clothes — one wall has a pipe rack displaying everything from ball caps and scarves to ties and shoes.

There were lots of great vintage accent pieces, perfect for browsing while imagining how they'd match with outfits.

Shopping carts and fitting rooms at Viva Trade
Blue shopping carts are ready near the entrance, so you can load up all the pieces you like and wheel them around without worry.

There are also clean fitting rooms inside, so you can try clothes on and check the fit and condition yourself — a big plus!

Trying on the fall knit and jeans
With fall approaching, I picked out several knits and jeans and tried them on in the fitting room at Viva Trade Eulji Dundaun Dongdaemun Branch. Trying them on, I could tell they were imported clothing — the fit held up really well and the fabric condition was so clean from the steam sterilization that it felt almost like new!
1. Secondhand treasure hunting in a clean space
Unlike a typical secondhand shop where you have to dust things off while browsing, it was really nice being able to see the exact condition and color of clothes under bright lighting. Being able to closely check for scratches or stains made it so much easier to decide what to buy.

2. Many brands plus up to 50% off
The base prices were already reasonable, and on top of that they were running a promotion of up to 50% off base prices. Mixing and matching a nice combo of pants and knits, I felt the value was genuinely excellent.

3. Relaxed, no-pressure shopping
The staff didn't hover over me, so I could try on as much as I wanted and take my time choosing without feeling watched.
Who is this Dongdaemun secondhand store for?

I'd highly recommend Viva Trade Eulji Dundaun Dongdaemun Branch to anyone who wants to score luxury and branded clothing in a clean environment! Since it's inside the Dundaun building, the flow for shopping and grabbing a meal was really convenient too. I had a really satisfying fall shopping trip, and I'm planning to come back again soon once more new arrivals come in!
