I visited Pickles, a great pizza spot in Jeonpo, Seomyeon, for a weekday brunch date.

In this two-story building, Pickles—the Jeonpo pizza spot—is on the first floor! 🍕

Weekday Lunch Wait and Seating

It was lunchtime, but since it was a weekday, we could walk right in without waiting.

There was still about one table left by the window, so we grabbed it. You can get more water and pickles at the self-service bar toward the back of the restaurant.

Pickles felt even neater with its open kitchen.

Romaine Salad That Went Well with Pizza

The first dish out was a romaine salad that went nicely alongside the pizza.

The core and leaves were cut into easy-to-eat pieces.

With plenty of tangy ranch dressing and bacon on top, it was a fresh, bright salad 🥗

Jambon-Beurre and Beef Cheeseburger Half-and-Half Pizza

Then came the half-and-half pizza we ordered as our main 🍕🍕🍕

One side was jambon-beurre (ham and butter) pizza, loaded with ham and butter.

The sweet butter nestled among the jambon-beurre toppings made this Pickles pizza especially sweet and tangy.

New York-Style Lasagna with Deep Ragù Flavor

We also ordered lasagna, another signature menu item at Pickles! The lasagna covered in ragù sauce was cut into easy-to-eat pieces, too.

This New York-style lasagna is made with ragù sauce simmered in-house for a long time. Even from one bite, the ragù sauce's flavor came through incredibly richly.

For the other half of the pizza, we chose the beef cheeseburger pizza.

The vegetables and bulgogi (Korean marinated beef) on top went so well together—it was exactly my kind of thing..

After eating pizza, I went back for another bite of lasagna loaded with ragù sauce.

I especially remember my boyfriend enjoying Pickles' lasagna so much.

I’d recommend Pickles when you want a variety of delicious Western dishes in Seomyeon, Jeonpo 🍕🍕
