I visited Mini Male Coffee Roaster Gyodae Court Branch, already well known around Gyodae for its great coffee.

I’m very much a one-coffee-a-day person, so I’m always interested in coffee and love pairing it with desserts—I go looking for good coffee spots. I love Mini Male’s Helsinki coffee so much that I come by now and then.

It is located near Gyodae Court, so it is very easy to get to. For nearby office workers, it is an absolutely wonderful space to pop in for a quick pickup during a busy lunch hour or unwind from the day with a cup of coffee.

The whole café feels modern, warm, and clean. It is comfortable to visit alone, while also having the right atmosphere for chatting with friends or a partner.

A hefty, fudgy Dark S'more Cookie

These New York-style cookies are mixed by hand with Mini Male’s own recipe at the Gaepo-dong Bakery Lab and baked fresh every day, and they looked substantial from the start. I chose the Dark S'more Cookie—its chocolate was incredibly rich, and I loved the fudgy texture!

There are lots of other baked goods too—they all looked delicious!

From Helsinki Latte to decaf

There are plenty of coffee options. Along with the signature Helsinki Latte, there are cream lattes and decaf coffee too.

What does the Helsinki Latte taste like?

This is the Helsinki Latte, the symbolic signature drink of Mini Male Coffee Roaster. I’ve only had it here 😍

I first tried it after reading that it reinterprets, through an original recipe, the memory of a latte encountered while traveling in Helsinki and Northern Europe. Once I tasted it, I immediately understood why it is such a special signature drink that can only be found here.

I usually love sweet coffees and cream coffees, and at Mini Male, I always order the Helsinki Latte!

• Flavor notes: It has a distinctive flavor that is clearly different from an ordinary café latte. Its subtle, refined sweetness and the natural nuttiness of milk blend beautifully with specialty espresso beans.
• Overall: It is full-bodied yet goes down smoothly—so good from the first sip that “latte of a lifetime” does not feel like an exaggeration. If you come to Mini Male Coffee Roaster Gyodae Court Branch, I strongly recommend trying the Helsinki Latte at least once before anything else.

Fruit Strawberry Latte for companions who do not drink coffee

This is the perfect choice when you are craving something sweet besides coffee. If someone you are with cannot drink coffee, I think it would be nice to recommend a fruit latte or an ade.

It was filled with fresh, tangy strawberry pieces, giving it a wonderful bite. The softness of the milk and the sweetness of the fruit were balanced without being overpowering, making it a very enjoyable drink.

I highly, highly recommend the Dark S'more Cookie :) The Dark S'more Cookie I chose as a dessert to have with my coffee was seriously so good 😍
