I’m totally ➿➿ obsessed with fruit sando (fruit-and-cream sandwiches), so of course I headed to another sando hot spot this time too! 💚

The place I visited was Jo Hui-tak Coffee (조희탁커피), a café near Ajou University! I heard everything is handmade here (they even have a separate bakery kitchen!), and that it’s delicious~~~?🥰 If you’re driving, use the paid Uman 2-dong public parking lot! You can park free for one hour-!

Fruit sando and whole-cake ordering details

At Jo Hui-tak Coffee, they carefully make sando and handmade cakes right in the shop 💚 They use fresh ingredients and prepare items to order, and whole cakes are reservation-made rather than pre-made! (If you need a cake, be sure to reserve by the day before pickup!) More than anything, the fruit sando caught my eye, haha. There were so many fruit options: musk melon, peach, mandarin, apple mango, and mixed fruit 🫶🏻

Plus, they’ll refill one Americano when each person orders one drink .. 🫪❤️ And if you write a receipt review, you get a handmade chocolate chip cookie too, so keep that in mind haha.

Seats that are great for studying and working

Walk all the way inside and you’ll find a spacious café and tables. Along with the long central table, there are four-person tables and solo bar seats too!

There are outlets too, so it’s a nice place to come and work quietly! A café near Ajou University that’s great for studying! 💯

Musk melon sando and iced Americano

That day, I ordered melon sando and an iced Americano! I was most excited for the musk melon sando 🍈 because I’ve been super into melon lately lolllll. The sweetness was incredible, and it was bursting with juice,,

But seriously, the whipped cream here wasn’t rich at all?? Maybe because they use dairy whipped cream, it was smooth yet clean, with none of that heavy feeling!! Normally I would scrape off some cream halfway through, but that day I polished it all off without doing that lol. I honestly think I could have eaten it even with more whipped cream, haha. That’s how good the cream was .. ➿💚

Fluffy bread, soft whipped cream, and moist, sweet musk melon—the three-part combo was the best,, ➿💚 In particular, the melon’s sweet, juicy moisture seemed to make the cream taste even fresher, haha. I think I inhaled that sando in no time,,, hahahaha.

Fruit sando I could eat without the heaviness

I left Jo Hui-tak Coffee completely smitten with the musk melon sando! I usually can’t eat much whipped-cream cake because it gets too rich after a few bites, so I honestly didn’t expect much—but the dairy whipped cream here was smooth and clean, and I enjoyed it so, so, so x100 much-! Add that sweet, moist musk melon, and it was basically a combination I couldn’t help but love, haha.

More than anything, there are lots of fruit sando choices besides musk melon—peach, mandarin, apple mango, and mixed fruit—so I’m already wondering what to try next lol. Especially if, like me, you struggle with whipped-cream cakes or fruit sando because the cream feels too rich, I think Jo Hui-tak Coffee’s fruit sando is worth trying! The next time I’m at Ajou University, I’m planning to stop by again for another fruit sando, haha.
