My second visit to Badamaru’s seventh floor at the edge of Gwangalli

My second visit to Working Holiday Minrak ✌️ There must be a reason you go back, right? Working Holiday Minrak is on the seventh floor of a building called Badamaru, near the sashimi-center end of Gwangalli. Enter through the entrance between Starbucks and Shabu Number One on the first floor, then take the elevator!

The moment you get off on the seventh floor, there is the grand Working Holiday entrance :-) Just order at the kiosk by the entrance, then head in.

Choosing Fricassee Pasta and Pinuozzo

There were new menu items too, but I picked popular dishes that were different from what I had last time!

Fricassee Pasta Pinuozzo

The names were unfamiliar! I chose the Fricassee Pasta because the noodles looked unusual. And Pinuozzo... these wood-fired breads are everywhere lately, right? I had been curious about the wood-fired bread at Pono Buono in Sinsa-dong, made by Hidden Genius from Culinary Class Wars, but it was sold out every time, so I had never tried it! This looked similar, you know? Pizza dough made in-house at Working Holiday +_+ I ordered it with high expectations!

The café is huge~ It seemed like they use the entire seventh floor! It always has such a relaxed, unpressured atmosphere... which makes it even more appealing. There are quite a few staff members too, but the vibe feels friendly and free-spirited, which I loved!

The weather was especially gorgeous today, so the café felt even brighter!

There were couples on dates, guests having coffee alone while looking at their laptops, and lots of families too~ Working Holiday also gets plenty of international visitors!

Aren’t the clouds so pretty? The Gwangalli view from the terrace at Working Holiday Minrak is no joke either!!! A panorama 💙 Step out onto the terrace and the view stretches from Marine City and Gwangan Bridge, along Gwangalli Beach, all the way to W in Yongho-dong in the distance!!

It is a place where you can take in the entire Gwangalli seafront and enjoy a delicious brunch at the same time! As a Gwangalli resident, I see Gwangalli all the time... but the view from the Working Holiday terrace still makes even this local’s jaw drop~~ haha

Small plates and water are in the middle of the café, so you can help yourself to whatever you need ^^

Once you settle in and admire the incredible Gwangalli view, your pager vibrates. Then it is time to collect your food!

A bright, tangy plate of curly-noodle Fricassee Pasta

The presentation is amazing!!!! Great choices today!! ♥️ Especially the Pinuozzo sandwich... it was so much bigger than I expected that I was shocked, haha

A French cream-stew-style pasta with tender-cooked chicken and button mushrooms, for an outstandingly creamy flavor.

I ordered the Fricassee Pasta because I was curious about the curly noodles 🤍 It was a slightly spicy cream pasta with chicken and mini button mushrooms. Arugula was piled over the curly pasta noodles~ and I squeezed lemon over the top for a fresh finish :-) The chicken was a little dry, which was a shame!

Pinuozzo with freshly made pizza dough

A satisfying, wholesome sandwich generously filled with jambon ham made from pork shoulder and arugula, using pizza dough kneaded in-house.

Freshly made pizza dough that tastes like it was baked in a wood-fired oven~ It comes with corn soup :-) This sandwich also came with lemon, so I squeezed some into the filling before eating it!

I even inspected the sandwich filling because next time I want to buy some wood-fired bread and make one at home! Hahaha. It really felt like a healthy meal!

I was surprised by how big it was.... but once I split it in half and held it in my hands, it did not spill out and was easy to eat! Working Holiday Minrak lets you enjoy a delicious brunch while looking out at gorgeous Gwangalli! It is such a great place for family gatherings or dates 🤍
