Draft beer pouring demo at a Gwangalli bar: Ganppa Beer Gwangalli 2
In short
Ganppa Beer Gwangalli 2 is a standing bar in Gwangalli, Busan, that serves only Sapporo and Ebisu draft beer. Staff walk you through how they chill the glass and pour each beer, and there's a rock-paper-scissors event when a keg runs dry — win, and you get another glass of Sapporo. It's a good round-two bar for a light one or two more drinks when you're already full from round one.

Sapporo or Ebisu? While you're still deciding, you've already had another glass.

When you're out in Gwangalli and already full from round one, but it feels a bit early to just go home — that happens more often than you'd think, right? Rather than a place with heavy anju (side dishes for drinking) to order again, I wanted somewhere for a light draft beer. This time I went to Ganppa Beer Gwangalli 2, a good one to keep in mind when you're looking for a Gwangalli bar for beer.

If you've already eaten in Gwangalli and are looking for a round-two bar, I thought this place's system fit the mood pretty well!

Rather than the typical hof (Korean beer pub) setup where you sit for a long time, the standout feature here is the standing setup for a lighter beer experience.
So it suits days when you're already full and don't want a big anju order, but just want to focus on the beer.
1. A good spot to drop by for round two in Gwangalli

As soon as I walked into Ganppa Beer Gwangalli 2, the vibe felt a little different from a typical Gwangalli bar.

Since it's about standing and enjoying your beer rather than sitting quietly, the space itself has a lively energy. 🍻

At first I thought standing to drink might feel a bit unfamiliar, but once I was actually there, it fit the round-two mood really well.

With one light anju and a cold draft beer, it didn't feel too heavy, which took off some of the pressure.

If you're going for a light drink solo, this free-flowing atmosphere would make it a decent option for solo drinking in Gwangalli too.

2. Why it's only Sapporo and Ebisu draft

What stuck with me most here was, of course, the draft beer. Ganppa Beer is said to be a collab with Sapporo.
Instead of stocking many different beers, they focus mainly on selling Sapporo and Ebisu draft. 🍺
I heard the owner of the first location went to Japan in person to learn how to pour draft beer well.
So once you're seated, you get an explanation of how Ganppa Beer prepares its draft beer.
They walked me through everything, from chilling the glass to the actual pouring, step by step, including the pouring technique itself.
Rather than just ordering a beer and drinking it as soon as it arrives, there was a real enjoyment in knowing how each glass is made. 😊

Watching how the foam and beer come together, this Gwangalli bar's concept for beer really felt clear and defined. Especially if you love draft beer itself, watching this process is a bit of a show, so the wait doesn't feel boring at all.
3. Light anju paired with draft beer

Honestly, for round two, sometimes too much anju feels like a burden when you're already full.

Ganppa Beer is good for pairing light anju with draft beer, which made it a solid pick as a round-two bar in Gwangalli.
Here too, rather than feeling like a heavy meal, I was able to focus on the cold beer and keep things light!!

It's a great fit for when you've already had a solid meal in round one and just want one or two more beers.
The keg-empty rock-paper-scissors event
There was one point I found the most fun. 🔔 When a keg of draft beer runs completely empty, you play rock-paper-scissors with a staff member — win, and you get another glass of Sapporo. It's a Ganppa Beer-exclusive event.

I actually got the timing right and joined in... and I lost. Hahaha 😂 It was a little disappointing not to get the free beer, but honestly, this kind of little event stuck in my memory even more.

Thanks to this little detail, I left with a fun memory that went beyond just having a beer at a Gwangalli bar!!
In summary
If you've finished round one in Gwangalli and it feels a little too early to head home, Ganppa Beer Gwangalli 2 comes to mind.
The menu focused on Sapporo and Ebisu draft, along with the standing setup, both had a clear identity. If you're looking for a Gwangalli bar for beer, or a light drink while traveling, or a round-two Gwangalli bar, this place should suit you well.
If you enjoy the mood of drinking solo, this could be a good candidate for solo drinking in Gwangalli too!
