In short
Midam Kitchen is a Western restaurant on Hwangridan-gil in Gyeongju, Gyeongbuk. My friend and I ordered ricotta salad for 12.9 and beef risotto for 15.9, loving the generous cheese and tender beef. Midam Kitchen is a lovely choice for a relaxed meal.

Maybe because it’s Hwangridan-gil in Gyeongju, there were so many hanok cafés and little shops! The hanok vibes were abundant and just so lovely. Even the walk to the restaurant was beautiful, which put me in such a good mood 🩶
It isn’t far from Hwangridan-gil’s main street, but it is a little removed, so it felt quiet and relaxed. Recommended!

Please check the business hours once more~

What are the private room and seats like?
✅ If you want the private room, I recommend making a reservation‼️ The room has floor-to-ceiling windows, and the view was so pretty. There is a room as well as group seating with outdoor views, so I think it would be nice to enjoy your meal privately!
🪑 Most tables seat 4 to 6 people, making it perfect for group gatherings, family meals, or dates ✨

👉🏻 There is a kiosk at every table, so you can order through the kiosk.

A menu from pizza to pork cutlet
✅ The menu includes pizza, pasta, risotto, salad, and pork cutlet‼️
- Pizza: arugula tomato / Ccockio / quattro cheese
- Pasta: Toowoomba / cream chicken rigatoni / beef brisket oil / basil oil / basil cream
- Salad: beef / chicken / ricotta
- Pork cutlet: loin pork cutlet / cheese roll cutlet
A varied menu makes me happy~ The two of us ordered the ricotta salad (12.9) and beef risotto (15.9)!

Jalapeños and pickled radish came first as the basic sides~ They are essential when a Western-style meal starts to feel rich!

The generous ricotta salad
✅ Next up was the ricotta salad~ My friend and I were honestly surprised by how generous the portion was! We had eaten so much while traveling the day before that we said we should keep things light, so we ordered clean—but both the salad and cheese were sooooo generous! 🩶
The salad was so fresh, and I already love ricotta cheese so much—this absolutely earns its reputation as a great ricotta salad spot~ The cheese was thick, nutty, and fresh.

Thick, creamy beef risotto
✅ Next came the beef risotto. Creamy, thick, and impossible to dislike 🤤 It seriously can’t be bad‼️
The rich flavor of softly cooked beef blended with the creamy risotto for a deep, luxurious taste 🔥🔥 The beef on top of the risotto was also so tender—a perfect match. It practically melted away, and it was full of juices 🤤🤤
Dipping the toast that came with it into the thick risotto gave it such a good texture 🩶 You have to order it‼️

Isn’t the plating so pretty❓ You simply can’t not take photos. A place for beautiful scenery‼️ A place for great atmosphere‼️ A great Western-food spot‼️ The risotto and salad make such a nice combination.
Both were so delicious that we decided to try other dishes next time we come to Gyeongju. 🩶Definitely coming back🩶 The salad-and-risotto pairing is so good.

Just as things were starting to feel rich, the owner quietly brought us a Coke Zero 🤤 It was complimentary. With ice in the Coke too, they kept asking if we needed anything, and they were so kind that the whole meal felt good. Such thoughtful service 🩶

Many people visit Gyeongju with their families, and I liked that there were high chairs for children too 👍🏻 Aprons are also hanging on the wall, so feel free to use them!
