On a perfect day for a walk, I found Que Sera along the alley leading to Seokchon Lake. Let me introduce this Seokchon Lake brunch spot that bakes its own fermented bread~

Where is Que Sera, and what are its hours?

Que Sera is on the 1st floor at 30 Baekjegobun-ro 23-gil, Songpa-gu, Seoul, open Tue-Sun 10am-5pm and closed Mondays. It's right on the way to Seokchon Lake, so it's a great stop before or after a walk.

Que Sera is Spanish for something like "everything happens without worry." Que sera, sera~ there's a famous song with that line, you might know it.

This is the exterior of Que Sera, a Seokchon brunch restaurant with a vintage, cute vibe carrying that alley charm.

Inside Que Sera: folding windows, porch seats and dog-friendly tables

Inside, wood wraps around the furniture and interior, giving off a really natural, comfortable feel. There's also space further inside, so there are more tables than it looks like from outside~

The open kitchen is clean too, and they carry wine for pairing. Brunch with wine sounds like a great date course around Seokchon Lake.

Come further inside and it's a whole different mood! The round window is pretty and the lemon tree decor doubles as a nice photo spot.

On one side, the folding windows are open letting in a cool breeze — just the best feeling! This is the seat we picked. Dogs are welcome too, so I heard many people come here as a Jamsil dog-friendly restaurant. There's also a small porch and small table by the window, so you can eat almost like you're outdoors, which was impressive.

English muffins baked in-house with a natural starter

What makes Que Sera special among Seokchon Lake restaurants is the bread and bakery items baked in-house using natural fermentation. The pile of English muffins proves just how much demand there is. These are breads made with care, slow-fermented at low temperatures for a long time.

Que Sera's menu and how to order by QR code

Every table has a menu with photos and clear descriptions, making it easy to choose. You order by scanning the QR code on the table. The main items are open sandwiches made with their own tangzhong milk bread and sandwich plates made with English muffins, and you can customize them with various toppings like bacon, omelette, and avocado.

Brunch plating on a vintage metal tray

Oh my, where can I buy a tray like this? The plating on that vintage metal tray with the detailed handles was so tempting. Couldn't resist not taking a photo, it looked way too pretty.

The sun was coming in on the porch in front of our seat, so I put it on the small table there and took photos. Brunch here felt like a lethal dose of romance. This season is absolutely the best time to enjoy outdoor or terrace seating.

Fish cutlet sandwich plate, 13,200 won

Que Sera's fish cutlet sandwich plate is ₩13,200. The domestic cod cutlet pairs really well with the tartar sauce, and the carrot slaw and tomato balance the sandwich nicely! The cutlet is fried to order, so it was crispy outside and moist inside. The homemade muffin was soft, mild, and really delicious!

Shrimp avocado sandwich plate, 16,500 won

Que Sera's popular shrimp avocado sandwich plate, ₩16,500! It's so packed inside that the muffin can't even stand upright. The shrimp is marinated too, giving it great flavor, and the avocado's freshness was insane. The slaw and tomato are in there again for that refreshing touch~

Plus there were roasted vegetables, mushrooms, and a fresh mini salad on the side, making it a healthy complete meal!

Self-serve station and the École Lenôtre certificate

Que Sera has a self-serve zone where you can grab water, and above it I noticed an École Lenôtre certificate. Isn't that the famous French pastry and baking school? Thanks to a delicious brunch, I strolled all the way to the east end of Seokchon Lake afterward.
