Combination & bulgogi half-and-half pizza in Gunpo: Jagajebbang

I was debating what to eat on a Friday evening and ended up visiting Jagajebbang Seonmyeonghui Pizza, Gunpo Branch — a Gunpo Dang-dong go-to for beer and pizza :) I'd tried this place as takeout before, but finding out you can eat in-store too was such a nice surprise! Everything really does taste best when you go eat it in person~!

₩5,000 off takeout, and the menu lineup

Apparently takeout gets you a whopping ₩5,000 discount! That probably explains why so many people were picking up orders. And true to its reputation as a Gunpo Dang-dong favorite, there were plenty of delivery orders too. Let's take a look at the menu first ↓ ↓ ↓ ↓ ↓

Half-and-half pizza is just ₩2,000 extra, so I'd recommend adding it on to try a variety~~ Oh, and looking at other blogs, a lot of people order the set menu combos. The set menu lineup looks good, so I'd recommend trying that too.

We got a large pizza plus added tomato spaghetti! At some point, whenever it's just the two of us getting pizza, we always go large without fail. We split the pizza half-and-half, choosing combination and crispy bulgogi.

Apparently if you write a receipt review, you get a free cheese oven spaghetti! You can only do this once per table, and it's limited to same-day receipts :)

An open kitchen and house-made dough

The kitchen was somewhat open like this! It looked like it was being kept clean and neat. I liked the confidence of opening up the kitchen to customers to show off how spotless the place is! Apparently Seonmyeonghui Pizza kneads and manages the dough right in the store! They also use black rice from Jindo, which they say makes the bread easier to digest and tastier.

Can you do pizza and beer in-store? Plenty of tables inside

Usually places like this are mostly takeout-focused, but here they've got so many tables that it seemed perfect for pizza and beer. We drove, so we skipped drinking today..haha

I liked that there was plenty of table space inside! Perfect spot for a family dinner gathering too, right?~

Large half-and-half pizza, thin crust

The large pizza is seriously generous! And the dough was thin with no crust edge at all! I'm usually the type to leave the crust behind so I can eat more pizza, but here the dough was so thin there was nothing left to leave behind — kind of my ideal setup..^^

I think going with combination and crispy bulgogi half-and-half was a good call. Splitting it lets you taste a bit of everything, which is great!

Ordering combination is usually a safe, can't-go-wrong choice, right?! Held true today too!

Drizzling on hot sauce and parmesan cheese made it even more flavorful and delicious. And the cheese loaded onto the pizza itself was generous and tasty.

And dipping it in this garlic sauce is just insanely good.. It's not for nothing that this place is famous as a Gunpo Dang-dong go-to!

Combination vs. crispy bulgogi

Both were delicious, but personally I found the crispy bulgogi a bit tastier haha. I'd say it had a bit more depth of flavor. It was also loaded with bulgogi, which I loved.

And the tomato pasta we added on. The portion was big, but we finished the tomato pasta completely without leaving any.. we only left two slices of pizza, which we packed to take home :) lol. Honestly we could've finished everything if we'd really tried, but we held back and packed up~

If you're looking for a Gunpo Dang-dong favorite, a Dang-dong pizza favorite, I'd recommend Jagajebbang Seonmyeonghui Pizza, Gunpo Branch. It really is a pizza place worth the reputation.
