Seocho bakery café for daytime coffee with your sister: Selecto

Today I’m sharing my visit to Selecto Coffee Sinnonhyeon Branch 24 Auto Brew Cafe, a bakery café by Sinnonhyeon Station, where I went for coffee with my sister.

Getting to Selecto Coffee by Sinnonhyeon Station and parking

The address is 31 Gangnam-daero 79-gil, 1F, Seocho-gu, Seoul. It is 202 m from Exit 1 of Sinnonhyeon Station. Come out of Exit 1, walk straight for about 90 m, then turn right and you’ll find Selecto Coffee.

Parking in front of the café may make you liable for a fine, and Eongubi Public Parking Lot is the nearest paid parking option.

Open 24 hours, with staffed and unstaffed hours

Selecto Coffee Sinnonhyeon Branch 24 Auto Brew Cafe is open 24 hours. From Monday to Friday, it is staffed from 08:00 to 22:00 and unstaffed from 22:00 to 08:00; on Saturday and Sunday, it is staffed from 10:00 to 21:00 and unstaffed from 21:00 to 10:00. Keep that in mind: it is a staffed café from morning through evening, then an unstaffed one from night into dawn.

A spacious interior for solo coffee or gatherings

This is the interior of Selecto Coffee Sinnonhyeon Branch 24 Auto Brew Cafe. It is very spacious and clean. We visited at around 1 p.m., and groups of customers were enjoying coffee together. With so much room, it is great for having coffee alone as well as perfect for a gathering.

Further inside, they have created an area where you can study while using a laptop. It has comfortable tables and seats, so it is an especially popular spot.

There is also a bar table, so it is the best for solo coffee too!!

There is a printer too, so feel free to use it. The staff are so kind—this is a place known for friendly service.

Two Americanos chosen at the kiosk

At Selecto Coffee Sinnonhyeon Branch 24 Auto Brew Cafe, you order at the kiosk. Mocha, Hwasahan, Blue Mountain, and Geisha Americanos are ₩3,800 each, while a decaf Americano is ₩4,200. There are lots of Americano varieties, so choose to suit your taste.

The Selecto Latte, Nutty Cream Latte, Chocolat Cream Latte, and Green Tea Cream Latte are ₩5,100 each. There are plenty of other drinks too: espresso is ₩3,800; café latte and cappuccino are ₩4,800 each; vanilla bean latte and dolce latte are ₩5,400 each; and an Okinawa brown sugar latte is ₩5,100, so there is lots to choose from.

We chose one hot Geisha and one Mocha Americano.

The last remaining salmon sandwich

There are lots of dessert options too, which makes choosing fun. We picked the salmon sandwich.

By the afternoon, almost all the sandwiches were sold out. We snagged the one remaining salmon sandwich.

Tasting the Geisha, Mocha, and smoked-salmon sandwich

Our order came out. The presentation gets 100 out of 100! If it tastes good, it has zero calories. Shall we dig in?

Since we had two Americanos and could not tell the flavors apart, they placed a napkin under the Geisha cup so we could identify it.

The thick sandwich was fresh and delicious. The salmon was smoked too, so it was tasty without any fishy smell—two thumbs up.

My sister had the bright, acidic Geisha~ and I had the nutty Mocha^^ The refreshing and nutty Americanos are amazing for the price. This quality at this price... is this for real, meow? The coffee must be good, because so many customers came in. As we sat and rested, people kept arriving—such a hot spot in this area.
