666 Burger is a popular Maetan-dong spot for handmade burgers made with 100% beef patties. Its fresh patties are grilled to order, making for juicy handmade burgers. The red sign on the white building stood out even from far away, so it was easy to find :)

666 Burger uses a white base with red accents. Since it is a place where many people eat in, I was a little concerned about cleanliness, but the inside was super tidy. A messy dining space makes me not want to visit, so I really liked how clean 666 Burger was ^^

There was quite a bit of space between the tables, and the large windows made the dining room feel wonderfully open.

666 Burger Main Branch has no separate break time and is open from 11 a.m. until midnight, so you can visit without worrying about the time. I stopped by for a solo meal in Maetan-dong after running an errand nearby. I came at that awkward time of around 4 p.m., and it was so convenient that I could still order, haha.

Self-service bar and kiosk ordering

There is a self-service bar on one side. Just take whatever you need. It is continually maintained, so I liked how clean it was.

The self-service bar had wet wipes, water cups, forks, knives, water, and Sriracha sauce.

I ordered at the kiosk. There was a wide variety of burgers, and since 100% beef patties are 666 Burger's signature, there were plenty of beef-patty options. The standard set comes with small fries and a drink, and you can switch the side, so there is lots of choice. Burgers à la carte are in the ₩8,000–₩9,000 range; add ₩4,000 for fries and a drink.

The Garlic Boom Set and Cheese in the Trap I ordered

I ordered the Garlic Boom Set for ₩13,000 and Cheese in the Trap for ₩9,500.

What does Garlic Boom taste like?

Garlic Boom is a handmade burger with a beef patty, grilled onion, garlic dip, and a sprinkle of garlic flakes. You could tell at a glance that it was generously piled with toppings, and it looked like every bite would be full of rich flavor.

Sauce was running down the side. It seemed to contain mayonnaise and a house sauce. One bite in, the beef patty had a fragrant meaty aroma and was full of juice. Not only was the patty's texture great, but the romaine lettuce, grilled onion, and sauce were all so delicious. The bun in particular was thick and soft.

It came loaded with sauce and garlic flakes. I ordered it because it is one of 666 Burger's best-selling burgers~ After trying it, I found it to be a flavor anyone could enjoy, so I recommend it for a first visit. Garlic lovers, go for it right away ^ㅎ^

Cheese and smoky flavor in Cheese in the Trap

Cheese in the Trap had the same toppings, but it was loaded with mozzarella and cheddar, and the sauce was different. With cheese and mustard sauce, I recommend it to anyone looking for a realllly rich, classic cheese flavor.

They placed mozzarella on top of the patty and torched it for a smoky flavor! The flame-kissed cheese was soft and made a beautiful pairing with the juicy beef patty. It had a different charm from burgers that simply come with cheddar cheese. I actually liked that it felt less heavy.

Fries are a must with burgers. Add ₩4,000 and you get a drink and fries. Even though the portion I received was a small, it was generous. The fries were thick and not too salty, so they were perfect with ketchup.

I usually love handmade burgers, but going out for a solo meal is not always easy.. Honestly, when there is nowhere obvious for a solo meal in Maetan-dong, when you are looking for a good nearby spot to eat alone in Maetan-dong, or when you need a solo-meal place at an awkward hour, I hope you will give it a visit! The beef patty made it filling, and it was packed with vegetables too, making this a tasty meal for one in Maetan-dong ★
