A Nambu Terminal restaurant with outdoor seating and a real local fixture: Kkanbu Chicken Nambu Terminal Branch! It's open late, so every time I pass by Nambu Terminal I see the place lit up bright. Now that outdoor seating season is here, I finally went. Haha

1am and the outdoor seats were already full

Since I came straight from work, it was nearly 1am, and there were still quite a lot of people around. (These photos were taken right before closing..) As an outdoor-seating spot, the tables out front were already all full, so we sat by the window.

The classic pub side dishes, puffed rice crackers and pickled radish, arrived as the basic snacks.

The Kkanbu Crispy Six Pack, finally tried on my third visit

Today's menu item was the Kkanbu Crispy Six Pack chicken. It's the restaurant's signature dish that I'd always been curious about, and I finally ate it on my third revisit.

The outside was super crispy and the inside was juicy — genuinely delicious. It had the feel of old-school whole chicken while still nailing that modern crispy fried chicken texture. I'm usually a boneless person, but Kkanbu Chicken's bone-in chicken is apparently good too? Dipping it in the accompanying sauce was also tasty.

Outdoor chimaek: goes with beer, goes with soju too

As expected.. when you're eating chicken outdoors at Kkanbu Chicken, beer is the perfect match. It came out ice cold.. I want more already.

And I added a little soju on the side XD The Kkanbu Chicken Six Pack paired well with beer, but it went just as well with soju!

Thanks for the meal 😋 It was delicious and I had a great time eating. The sherbet and onion rings looked good too and I was curious, but they'd stopped serving as closing time hit.. so I'll save those for next time.

Cheese balls from my last visit

For reference, Kkanbu Chicken's cheese balls are also delicious. Generous portion, chewy and creamy cheese!

And that's the end of my review of Kkanbu Chicken Nambu Terminal Branch, already my third revisit and still excited! I need to go back again before outdoor seating season ends..
