Paju Unjeong Chinese restaurant, mild seasoning for kids: Sannaemaeul
In short
Sannaemaeul Yang Kkochi & Qingdao is a fresh lamb skewer and Chinese restaurant on the second floor of World Tower 3 in Sannaemaeul, Paju Unjeong. The writer came with the kids, including a 6-year-old, and ordered lamb skewers, a large jjajangmyeon (black bean noodles) and guobaorou (crispy sweet-and-sour pork); staff brought a separate mild seasoning for the children, so the whole family ate without any gamey smell. Sannaemaeul Yang Kkochi & Qingdao is worth recommending for a family meal out with young kids.

Today I want to tell you about a Paju Unjeong restaurant we enjoyed a delicious meal at with the kids — it's Sannaemaeul Yang Kkochi & Qingdao (산내마을양꼬치앤칭따오).
It's already a proven favorite among locals — there's a wait during peak meal times. Visiting a lamb skewer restaurant with young kids always makes me pause because of the gamey smell or spicy seasoning, but this place is a spot the whole family, from little ones to adults, can enjoy.
Where is Sannaemaeul Yang Kkochi & Qingdao, and where do you park?
Sannaemaeul Yang Kkochi & Qingdao is at 205, 2F, World Tower 3, 573 Chaekhyanggi-ro, Paju-si, Gyeonggi-do, South Korea, open from 15:30 to 01:00 the next day, closed Mondays. It specializes in fresh lamb skewers with no gamey smell, while also serving Chinese dishes like jjajangmyeon and jjamppong (spicy seafood noodle soup), and stays open into the early hours.
- Name: Sannaemaeul Yang Kkochi & Qingdao
- Specialty: Fresh lamb skewers with no gamey smell, plus Chinese dishes like jjajangmyeon and jjamppong, open until late night
- Parking & amenities: Parking available in the building

Located on the 2nd floor of the building, it was convenient to park underground and walk right up. Inside, there's a self-serve corner where you can easily grab extra side dishes.

Since they serve not just lamb skewers but also meal dishes and various Chinese dishes, it's a great place for family visits.

Which menu items work best for kids?
This time at Sannaemaeul Yang Kkochi & Qingdao we ordered lamb skewers, a large jjajangmyeon, and guobaorou.

Zero gamey smell: the lamb skewers even our 6-year-old loved
The lamb skewers, grilled to a nice golden brown, kept the texture of the meat intact. There was absolutely no trace of the gamey smell lamb usually has, so even our 6-year-old ate them with real enjoyment.

They also brought out a separate mild version of the dipping seasoning just for the kids. Little ones can enjoy the savory flavor without any worry.

Large jjajangmyeon topped with a fried egg
The large jjajangmyeon we ordered as a meal dish came topped with a generous fried egg. The rich, sweet-and-salty black bean sauce soaked well into the noodles, and it paired great alongside the lamb skewers.

Guobaorou: crispy, sweet and tangy
The guobaorou had a lovely crispy texture, and the batter coating was clean too.

Coated in a sweet and tangy sauce, it made a great combination to snack on between bites of lamb skewer. Guobaorou is a dish kids love, so I'd call it an essential order.

Free bean sprout stir-fry with a fresh crunch
The bean sprout stir-fry came free with our order. When I cook it at home, the bean sprouts wilt so fast it's hard to time the crunch just right. But you really have to try the bean sprout stir-fry here — the crunch was amazing.
