The bookshelf entrance: outside and inside Eulji Darak Dosan
Located near Dosan Park, the restaurant wasn't hard to find, and it seemed to suit international visitors' taste too — lots of them were there.

Once you go up to the 2nd floor, you see a door and a bookshelf — so where's the entrance? If you're sharp, you've already guessed. Yes, the bookshelf is the entrance.

Maybe because of the bookshelf entrance, walking in felt like stepping into a fairy tale for adults, like The Little Prince or Momo.
Which is to say, it's a cozy, calm place to eat. Even with tables lined up side by side it never felt cramped, and there are separated spaces too, which makes it a good Apgujeong meetup spot.
Drinking water is set up near the entrance for self-service if you need it.

Ring the bell to order: the basic table setting at Eulji Darak Dosan
Each table at Eulji Darak Apgujeong Dosan Park comes with personal tableware set for the number of guests, plus one pretty little bell.

You pick your menu, ring the bell — ding-a-ling — and a staff member comes to take your order. It has that analog charm. It was funny how, even with the place packed, they always knew exactly which table's bell was ringing.

🍜 What we ordered at Eulji Darak Dosan
- Darak Rose Pasta (₩19,000)
- Chopmokssal Steak (₩24,000)
Darak Rose Pasta, 19,000 won: melting the cream into the sauce
Usually it's one menu per person, but when you're visiting for a date, family dinner, or Apgujeong meetup, ordering a variety and sharing is half the fun — so we ordered the signature Darak Rose Pasta.

It's built on a spicy house-made meat sauce, with sweet cream and Grana Padano cheese added for depth — mix the cream in well and melt it down as you eat.
Pork shoulder steak, 24,000 won, with mashed potato
Second popular pick! The Chopmokssal Steak comes with premium grilled pork shoulder, a variety of grilled vegetables, and soft, savory mashed potato — a dish anyone, any age, could love.

Tip: mix the cream in while the meat sauce and spaghetti are still hot so it melts smoothly. Watching the cream melt so easily was fun too.

I got so focused on mixing that I barely tasted the spicy house meat sauce on its own, which was a little disappointing — but I'll settle for the fact that it was delicious overall.

They also have drinks and alcohol available, which pair well with the food.

The pasta and steak went really well together. The mashed-in meat sauce gave the chewy noodles a slight kick, and it balanced nicely with the steak's tender texture and savory flavor. For gatherings, Apgujeong meetups, or family dinners with a bigger group, mixing it up with pasta, steak, omurice and katsu sando to share seems like a great idea.

Crisp on the outside with juices still locked in, the pork shoulder steak got savorier and more tender the more you chewed — it went well with the vegetables, but personally I liked it best paired with the mashed potato.

With colorful sides on the plate, picking through them was fun on its own, and the portion wasn't small, so it worked well as a filling meal.

There's whole grain mustard and fresh wasabi placed between the mashed potato and grilled vegetables, so enjoy it however suits your taste.
Final verdict on Eulji Darak Dosan
The atmosphere is great and the food is tasty, so it's a place many pick for blind dates or regular dates. It also works well for brunch or dinner, making it an easy place to drop by.
For celebrating and being celebrated, a bright mood is nice, isn't it? That's why I wanted to recommend the calmly lit, cozy Eulji Darak Apgujeong Dosan Park as an Apgujeong meetup spot.
