Hi everyone~~~ What comes after getting prettier??? Haha eating again~~~ No wait, do I just always go eat something delicious???? Hahahaha yep~~ I mean, how else am I supposed to feel good if not by eating something delicious...

I really had no appetite in summer, but now that it's fall my appetite is back!! Craving delicious things nonstop these days is honestly not easy~~~ hahaha These days I'm into the terrace vibe, so I came looking for a place with a nice terrace atmosphere, a good night view, not too crowded, and full of that local Busan feel!!

This is a place I've revisited literally N times!! Marine City Chinese restaurant Bueokgan Chinese Marine City Branch!!!

Where is Bueokgan Chinese Marine City Branch, and what are its hours?

Bueokgan Chinese Marine City Branch is located at 51 Marine City 3-ro, Haeundae-gu, Busan, South Korea, on the 2nd floor above Suryeon Choego Pork Gukbap. It's open daily from 11am to 10pm, with a break time from 3:30pm to 5pm, and last order at 3pm and 8:30pm.

Last time I visited during the day, so this time I was curious about the night view~~ I went in the evening!!!

You can take the elevator or the stairs!!! Once you reach the 2nd floor, you've found Bueokgan Chinese!!

Best seat at night: the very back window table at Bueokgan

At Bueokgan Chinese Marine City Branch, the best seat for evening is the very back window seat. Both the side with the open window and the inner side had a great atmosphere, so this time I sat inside.

The very back seat has that window-seat vibe perfectly, so today I sat inside!!! The side with the open window, and the inner side — both had great atmosphere personally, haha.

Bueokgan Chinese Marine City Branch is great for group gatherings or inviting important guests!!! Every time I come, the atmosphere and interior are just so well done~~ A place where traditional and refined feels coexist, Bueokgan!!

At night Bueokgan Chinese Marine City Branch really has even more atmosphere!!

Sitting at the inner window seat, this is the view!!! A yacht passes by in the evening and the atmosphere is honestly incredible~~ A Marine City Chinese restaurant that locals would really love too, Bueokgan Chinese Marine City Branch!!

Evening à la carte order: small black vinegar tangsuyuk, eohyang gaji and beer

This evening at Bueokgan Chinese Marine City Branch I ordered a small black vinegar tangsuyuk (sweet and sour pork), one eohyang gaji (fish-fragrance eggplant), and one beer. Last time during the day I ordered a variety from the set menu, but since it was evening, I went with à la carte dishes.

Eohyang gaji is really the famous dish at Bueokgan Chinese~~ and black vinegar tangsuyuk is a must!! Ordered these and waited while enjoying the night view~~~ Marine City is just so good~~~

The Gwangan Bridge view from Marine City is really amazing, right???? T_T

Looking around while waiting for the order, haha, honestly every corner is so pretty that wherever you sit the atmosphere at Bueokgan Chinese Marine City Branch is great!!!

Small black vinegar tangsuyuk: chewy glutinous rice batter

Bueokgan Chinese's black vinegar tangsuyuk is made with glutinous rice batter, so its chewy texture stands out. The sauce is made with black vinegar, giving it a tangy, deep flavor.

Ta-da~~ after a short wait, the black vinegar tangsuyuk arrives!! Since it's glutinous rice batter tangsuyuk, it's really chewy and delicious! You enjoy the crispy parts first, then the parts coated in sauce turn wonderfully chewy over time — the texture is insane!!!

I'm team pour-the-sauce-on, so I added extra sauce and mixed it all up to eat~~~

The meat is substantial and the ingredients aren't skimped on, yet the price is still kind at Bueokgan Chinese Marine City Branch~~

Crispy and so delicious!! Maybe because the sauce is made with black vinegar, it's tangy with a deep flavor!! The best~~~

Eohyang gaji, the best menu item and a beer side dish

The dish I was most looking forward to that day was Bueokgan Chinese Marine City Branch's best menu item, eohyang gaji. The eggplant was crispy on a whole different level and paired so well with the sauce that it was the perfect evening side dish to go with beer.

Wow~~~~~~ this was the dish I was really looking forward to that day, eohyang gaji! Wow~~~ it's so, so crispy — can you already tell just by looking at how crisp it is???

The eggplant's crispiness on a completely different level combined with the delicious sauce made me understand why eohyang gaji is Bueokgan Chinese Marine City Branch's best menu item~~~ You absolutely have to order eohyang gaji.... it's so, so crispy and delicious~~~

So this is what crisp-outside-tender-inside really means — eohyang gaji nails it!! It's so, so crispy, and this is exactly the texture and charm you eat eohyang gaji for~~ Perfect to pair with a beer, haha. Totally recommend as an evening side dish!!!

What to order first at Bueokgan Chinese in Marine City

For your first order at Bueokgan Chinese Marine City Branch, I recommend the eohyang gaji plus black vinegar tangsuyuk combo. Other dishes are delicious too, but these two together were the truth.
