In short
Kkamon Bundang Jeongja Direct Store is a Vietnamese pho restaurant on the 1st floor of The Sharp Star Park near Jeongja Station in Seongnam, Gyeonggi. As the weather cooled down a bit, I started craving warm pho. While searching for the best pho spot in Bundang, I found Kkamon Bundang Jeongja Direct Store, so here's my review.
It's near Jeongja Station so it's easy to get to, and more than anything, the vibe felt so authentically Vietnamese that I almost thought I was in Da Nang. The kids inhaled the Kkamon fried rice so much that we added an extra bowl of rice and cleaned it all up.

Kkamon's exterior, a lunch spot near Jeongja Station

Looking for a lunch spot near Jeongja Station? How about the pho at Kkamon Bundang Jeongja, located on the 1st floor of The Sharp Star Park~~

The exterior has a strong authentic Vietnamese feel. There are lots of budget-friendly menu items like pho, fried rice, and bánh mì sandwiches.
Inside the store: atmosphere and seating

The moment you step inside, even the customers are foreigners! It has that distinctly exotic vibe of a Vietnamese restaurant.

The interior is clean but keeps that authentic Vietnamese feel, so even though I came for pho, I briefly felt like I was traveling. Would've been great if it actually were a trip, haha.

There were various tables for comfortable dining — 2-person, 4-person, solo-dining seats and more. You can even charge your phone, so solo diners get two birds with one stone.

I came with the kids so we sat at a 4-person table!
Kkamon's menu and kiosk ordering

There was a menu board outside too, but ordering was easy through the kiosk, so I browsed around. Spicy mala pho! Seems good for a solo lunch. There's also a water spinach stir-fry set, which looks great if you're short on vegetables.

I heard the fried rice here is so good and that it's great for feeding kids too. Added a fried rice~ and also added a water spinach stir-fry.

The bánh mì sandwich also looked really good for a solo meal!

There was a dipping sauce for the meat at every table, and pickled onions were refillable anytime. They also had plenty of spoons, forks, and scissors for the kids.
Kkamon pho, ₩11,000

They gave spicy Vietnamese peppers separately. The pho came out with pickled onions! Quite a large portion. The pho arrived first, and pretty quickly too. If you want a quick lunch, head to Kkamon Bundang!!

There was a lot of meat in it too, and dipping it in the sauce was really good. The noodles were also super soft!! I'm sad I can't go to Vietnam, but I'll get by on Kkamon.
Kkamon fried rice, ₩13,000 — the dish the kids loved

This fried rice, this is seriously delicious. The sweet-and-salty meat sauce mixed with the egg fried rice is a perfect match.

When you order the fried rice, you also get pho broth on the side, so there's no chance of choking. And there was so much leftover meat sauce that you could order plain rice to mix it with. The sweet-and-salty sauce was seasoned just right, so the kids ate really well. If you're coming to Kkamon with kids, I recommend the fried rice!!
Stir-fried water spinach, ₩12,000, plus an extra bowl of rice

This is the water spinach stir-fry I really wanted to try. So crunchy, and it's amazing with plain rice.

So I ordered a bowl of rice to go with the water spinach, haha. Such a perfect match with rice. Just rice and water spinach alone is enough for a full meal~ Look at the size of that rice bowl, haha, they gave us a whole pot's worth. When there was still leftover fried rice sauce, we mixed it into the leftover rice again~ We ate it all up, thoroughly and neatly.

A beautiful group shot. It was such a satisfying meal. Next time I should come for the bánh mì. Next time I want to come eat alone, haha.
