Hwaseong nail salon for champagne pink magnetic nails: Green Nail

I got magnetic nail art from designer Yoonjin at Green Nail, a nail salon in Dongtan!

Magnetic nails are so hot these days, right? I was curious too, so I went to get my nails done at a nail salon in Dongtan~ The Dongtan nail salon I chose was Green Nail in Bansong-dong.

Green Nail location and parking information

I chose Green Nail, a nail salon in Dongtan known for magnetic nails. I liked this month’s art too, but decided to go with the design designer Yoonjin recommended.

In particular, there is a public street parking lot right in front of the shop, so I did not have the hassle of parking underground and taking an elevator. It is such a conveniently located nail salon in Dongtan.

Gel nail samples and the salon interior

Inside the nail salon were professional tools and countless gel nail colors. It made me think there could not be a nail design they could not do here.

The individual gel nail samples were also arranged for easy viewing, so I could get art in the color I wanted.

Various official registration certificates, a cosmetologist’s license, and even a hygiene management rating chart were displayed on the wall, which inspired confidence.

This month’s art with an autumn feel

These are the cute designs of the month at this Dongtan nail salon. Now that it is autumn, they really have that autumn feeling. I think lots of people will be getting their nails done around the holiday period too.

I was told that Green Nail’s designers create and select the monthly art by combining current trends with each designer’s own personality.

From color testing to charm finishing

With designer Yoonjin’s delicate touch and professional equipment, my cuticles were cleaned up neatly. When I said I was unsure which color to choose, she applied several colors as tests herself so I could see how each one felt.

She picked out flawless charms one by one and placed them carefully too. We chatted a little during the appointment, and I liked that the atmosphere did not feel stiff.

For anyone who would rather have their nails done without talking, she said you can let them know in advance and listen to music or watch videos on your phone instead.

Champagne-pink magnetic nails: day 5 wear

I had the design designer Yoonjin chose for me completed with champagne-and-pink-toned magnetic nails and accent charms. It was my first time trying magnetic nails, and they are so fascinating and luminous!

She carefully filled in the raised sides of the charms, and switched among several magnets so the luminous magnetic shimmer would show up beautifully. Protruding charms can snag on everything while showering or drying your hair and be uncomfortable, but the charms applied at this Dongtan nail salon did not do that at all, which I loved.

This is a photo from day 5, as I am writing this blog post. By day 5, my cuticles had inevitably grown back a little, but the gel nails were still holding up perfectly, with no peeling or chipping.

A mood-boosting manicure before the holiday
