Gwangalli parking and Sicilian salt pizza at Extra Mile, Busan
In short
Extra Mile is a Western restaurant in Suyeong, Busan, within walking distance of Gwangan Station and Gwangalli Beach. Sharing the two-person Classic Combo (42,000 won) with a friend, the writer had a half-and-half hot honey pepperoni and birria taco pizza plus bisque cream pasta, and a pinch of Sicilian salt with honey made the 48-hour aged dough taste noticeably richer. Drivers can park in the alley by the restaurant or at the Boseong private lot for 2,000 won per 30 minutes.

My close friend and I had some errands nearby and suddenly got hungry, so we headed straight here.
With its 48-hour cold-fermented dough and handmade sauces in perfect harmony, this is a true must-visit dining spot in Gwangalli.

The deep flavor of the 48-hour cold-fermented handmade dough and 100% handmade sauces.
Q: Would you go back to Extra Mile?
Absolutely — it exceeded my expectations, living up to its reputation as the new branch of a famous Jeonpo-dong restaurant.

First impressions of Extra Mile, newly opened near Gwangalli Beach
Located on the 1st floor of 11 Suyeong-ro 554beon-gagil, Suyeong-gu, Busan, Extra Mile has been gaining popularity for its hip mood right from opening. It was really convenient to reach on foot from both Gwangan Station and Gwangalli Beach.
My close friend and I had some errands nearby and got hungry, so we headed straight here — and as soon as we opened the door, the neat coat hangers by the entrance already showed the owner's thoughtful attention to detail.

The wood and white tones blended with lush plants created a cozy yet sophisticated American dining vibe.
From window seats with a peek of the outdoor garden, to a bar table for solo diners, to spacious 4-person tables, the layout was well thought out — perfect for dates or gatherings.

The dough, made with premium Italian Caputo flour and slow-fermented for 48 hours through traditional biga pre-fermentation, was really something else.
The half-and-half pizza we chose — hot honey pepperoni and birria taco — had a crust that was crispy outside and chewy inside, with nuttiness spreading more the more you chewed. Pairing it with the Sicilian salt or honey on the side made the pizza taste even more elevated.
The bisque cream pasta also wasn't made from store-bought sauce — it was a 100% handmade sauce slow-simmered from top-quality ingredients, so balanced that I scraped the plate clean.

Attentive service and a wait that passes easily

While the food was being prepared, coloring in the little illustrations placed at each table was a small but delightful way to pass the time.
The menu, written in both English and Korean, seemed great for visiting with foreign friends too, and the casual fine-dining mood without heavy formality was really comfortable.

The two of us ordered the two-person Classic Combo with pizza and pasta, and the portions were generous and the flavor spot-on — even full, we couldn't put our spoons down. The staff greeted us with warm, friendly smiles that filled the whole visit with good energy.
Why Extra Mile is a safe choice for a special occasion
If you loved Jeonpo-dong favorites like Free Will Pizza, Pickles, or Upper East, this is a place that will welcome you with open arms.
I confidently recommend this to anyone looking for a no-fail Gwangalli Western restaurant with great atmosphere for a special day, or foodies who want to taste real pizza made with proper handmade dough. The high-quality dishes enjoyed in such a stylish interior are more than enough to wash away everyday stress.
