What kind of café is Mokushura French Café in Jori-eup, Paju?

I stopped by Paju with my mom and looked for a large-scale café. Going to cafés is always fun. Did you know there's a really huge café in Paju? My sister kept talking about Mokushura so I finally went to check it out. It's a large Paju café known for its brunch.

Seriously, the size is enormous... even the parking lot has a whole different scale.

Mokushura, this large Paju café, is famous for its brunch!! And the bakery has all kinds of items, every single one delicious. Margherita pizza, the Mokushura signature panino, and everything from salads to pasta. I had the signature panino today and it was seriously good...

Mokushura's floors and seating: which floor has the reservoir view?

Mokushura, this large Paju café, has 4 floors total. Ordering is on the 2nd floor — the 1st floor is parking, the 2nd floor is the ordering area and tables. The 3rd floor also has tables plus a terrace that leads outside. The 4th floor is a rooftop garden.

It really was an enormous large-scale café just as I'd heard, and the chandelier immediately catches your eye — huge and stylish.

We settled on the 3rd floor. Maybe because it's so big, it really looks great no matter where you sit.

Large chandelier hanging from the ceiling

The chandelier is really gorgeous, right? My mom and I even asked ChatGPT how much it might cost... haha.

Various styles of café tables

Every table is different, so it's nice being able to pick a seat that matches your taste.

Seat by the floor-to-ceiling window overlooking the reservoir

Everything is floor-to-ceiling windows, so the front has a reservoir view and the back has a mountain view!!! It's a café with a lovely view no matter where you sit.

Self-bar with an oven

Is Mokushura good with kids? Self-bar, baby chairs and nursing room

Mokushura also has a well-equipped self-bar. There's even an oven, so you can heat things up however you like.

They have baby chairs for kids and even a nursing room. This kind of thoughtfulness is just so nice.

We decided to sit here!! Right in front seems to be the Paju reservoir...? The view was great. The drive here also makes for a perfect scenic route.

There are framed pictures all along the way up, which is fun to look at too.

What bakery items does Mokushura French Café sell?

I checked out the bread selection too. Mokushura is famous for brunch, but the bakery selection is also huge. My favorite, the onion cream cheese bagel!! It's really big too.

And scones to crookies (croissant-cookies)!!!

The sandwich made with salt bread looked really tasty too. Perfectly fine as a meal on its own~.~

There are also lots of breads topped with fresh fruit that kids love. From seasonal fruit croissants to pain d'or~.~ So mouth-watering. Piled high with mango. My daughter would love this ㅠㅠㅠㅠ

How do Mokushura's ciabatta and apple pie taste?

We got the ciabatta and apple pie. The ciabatta... honestly personally so delicious ㅠㅠㅠ the olives were amazing.

Olive ciabatta and apple pie

The apple pie was also packed full of apple inside. But it's not overly sweet, and pairs perfectly with an Americano. As for the chestnut bread!! I got that as takeout for my dad. The bread prices aren't expensive either, making it perfect for a meal.

Can you see the apples in the apple pie? It's seriously packed full. The bread is heavy because of it... hahaha. And those layered pastry sheets ㅠㅠㅠㅠㅠㅠㅠㅠ the bread itself is just delicious.

Mokushura's signature panino (tomato): the brunch to order

And then the panino I ordered!!! They say it's Mokushura's signature bread. Inside, like a pizza, it's packed with arugula and ham, plus stretchy melted cheese on top. Perfect for a meal. I recommend it as a brunch menu item.

Mokushura's signature tomato panino

We ordered the tomato version, but there's also one with steak inside!!! Really generous portions. Very clean-tasting, and the arugula flavor came through really nicely too.

If you go to Mokushura, this large Paju café, the panino is an absolute must-must. Ah, looking at the photos again is making me want to eat it again ㅠㅠㅠㅠㅠㅠㅠㅠ There are lots of cafés in Paju, but this is the first time I've seen one this big. I really lost track of time enjoying a leisurely brunch. It was such a healing time~.~

Great parking facilities, delicious brunch, and a huge bakery selection — that's Mokushura.
