Rooftop sunset and pet-friendly café in Jocheon, Jeju: Robain Coffee
In short
Robain Coffee Jeju Jocheon Sinchon Branch is a large dessert café standing right in front of Keunmul Port in Sinchon-ri, Jocheon-eup, Jeju City. The café is split across the main building's first and second floors, a rooftop, an annex and a private room, and matcha latte, mugwort tea, persimmon leaf tea and cheesecake come with sea-facing window seats, while the rooftop looks out over the whole little harbor village. Robain Coffee is an easy sunset stop on a quiet trip around eastern Jeju.

This time we traveled only around the east side! It's a café near Jocheon, right in front of the sea, and it turned out to be a dessert café that also welcomes pets!

Where is Robain Coffee Jeju Jocheon Sinchon Branch? Right in front of Keunmul Port
Robain Coffee is down the road toward the sea from Sinchon Elementary School, and right in front of the café is a spot called Keunmul Port!🌊

Unlike the big tourist-packed cafés, this was a nice, quiet place to relax while looking out at the Jeju sea, haha. I thought it'd be a small neighborhood café at first, but it turned out to be huge..🫢

The port is in front, and out back there's a yard with Jeju stone walls, so even within one café, the view changed depending on where you sat, haha.

There are all kinds of dol hareubang (stone grandfather statues) around too lol. Some of them look kind of squished from being flanked on both sides..🪨

First floor, second floor, rooftop, annex: choosing a seat at Robain Coffee
Robain Coffee has the 1st floor, 2nd floor, rooftop, and even an annex, so you can choose your seat based on the vibe you want!

All the seats are nice and spacious, haha.

They use Jeju antibiotic-free milk too, which is maybe why everything tasted so nutty and rich..✨💛
Robain Coffee menu: coffee, lattes, teas and cake

The menu was pretty varied — not just coffee, but also lattes, teas, and a good range of cakes~! Before our drinks came out we walked around the different spaces, and since the café is so big with even a rooftop, each area had its own distinct character!

I heard they roast their own beans daily, and they sell them too, haha. Robain Coffee — every space inside and outside really had its own personality!
The yard is so pretty, so Jeju..🪨💚🖤 Since it's pet-friendly, seeing a space like this made me think of Kkangkkangi and Gungmin (my dogs) all over again..✨

Kind of my favorite spot💚

There are modern spaces too! Plenty comfortable even if you come as a group, haha.

Just like the sign here says, make sure to go up and check out the rooftop..✨ The view is insane!!

In between, there are all kinds of seats facing the sea through floor-to-ceiling windows

There was even one of those long rectangular windows I've always kind of dreamed of, so my favorite spot kept changing the whole time lol.

This is basically the signature view of Robain Coffee! The ocean view is right there, so it was so nice to just sit and sip tea and unwind〰️🤍💙

Is there a private room at Robain Coffee?
And one thing that surprised me — Robain Coffee also has a private room ready to use.

When we visited, there were already people using it so we couldn't go in, but the view through the window looked so pretty that next time I want to write my blog post while looking out at the sea in there lolll.

Outside there are partitions along with what looked like reclining camping chairs

Rooftop views of the harbor village and the Jeju sunset
Once you get up to Robain Coffee's rooftop, you can see a small harbor village, haha. It's charming, and the sea gives you this wide-open view too!

So pretty..💙 They say the sunset view here at golden hour is insane too, so I'd definitely recommend visiting in the evening✨
Tasting the matcha latte, mugwort tea, persimmon leaf tea and cheesecake
💛What we ordered💛 ✔️ Matcha latte ✔️ Mugwort tea ✔️ Persimmon leaf tea ✔️ Cheesecake
This was the seat we sat and ate at! Just look at that view..absolutely insane..💙

💚Matcha Latte💚 You get that signature slightly bitter matcha taste first, followed by the nutty, smooth flavor of the milk, so it was great when I was craving something sweet! (Maybe because they use Jeju antibiotic-free milk, it was really nutty and rich)
💚Mugwort & Persimmon Leaf Tea💚 Drinking warm mugwort tea in Jeju especially just felt extra fitting somehow. Like, the kind of taste you sip slowly while looking at the sea, haha.

It was a bit backlit so that was a shame, but we had cheesecake along with the ocean view outside! Smooth texture, deep cheese flavor, and even a thick, dense bite! Even better eaten together with the matcha latte💚

Is Robain Coffee worth a stop in Jocheon, Jeju?
The view is genuinely insane..🌊💙 It's a great spot for a quiet rest right in front of Keunmul Port with the blue sea right there✨ With everything from house-roasted coffee to cake and tea, if you're looking for a café in Jocheon-eup, a Jocheon café, or a Sinchon-ri café, I'd recommend this one☕🌊 Especially recommended for anyone doing a quiet, laid-back, aesthetic-filled trip around the east side✨💗
