The mac and chicken double stack ordered at the very hot spice level (21,900 won) tasted less heavy thanks to the chili heat, and the braised pork rice bowl (15,900 won) came in a generous portion. Even from the outside you could clearly feel Dixie's own vibe, and once inside, the wood-tone interior plus the lighting made for a pretty exotic atmosphere.

Especially since there are music-related props all over the store, it felt less like just a restaurant and more like experiencing American Southern music and lifestyle together!
Blues, country and soul music plays in the store, and this atmosphere went really well with the food, making it nice for a relaxed meal.

Dixie's menu and what we ordered
Dixie's sells a wide range of Southern American menu items, from chicken baskets to chicken burgers, rice bowls, mac bowls, and sides. You can also choose your spice level, so if you love spicy food, just order at the level you want.

🍽️ What we ordered & prices
- Mac and Chicken Double Stack - ₩21,900
- Rice Bowl Braise Pork - ₩15,900

How spicy is the very hot mac and chicken double stack?
🍗 Mac and Chicken Double Stack ₩21,900. There are 3 spice levels, and I went with very hot! The menu said it was about as spicy as Shin Ramyun, but personally it felt a bit spicier than Shin Ramyun to me.

Maybe because it's definitely a spicy dish, the usual richness of mac and cheese felt less heavy than I expected — I liked that haha.

The Nashville hot chicken on top wasn't just spicy sauce drizzled on — the chicken itself seemed to be brined too, so the seasoning felt evenly worked through! Above all, the coating was crispy and the meat was genuinely tender. If you like spicy chicken, you'll probably be even more satisfied.

What does Dixie's braised pork rice bowl taste like?
🥗 Rice Bowl Braise Pork ₩15,900. Pork marinated in spices and slow-simmered on low heat into pulled pork, topped with herb ranch and barbecue sauce! The first taste was familiar somehow — personally it reminded me of a bulgogi burrito.

There were plenty of different ingredients inside, so the combination worked well when scooped up together, and a tangy salsa-like flavor kept popping up throughout, keeping the whole thing from feeling heavy.

And the portion was bigger than expected, so ordering just one would make for a solid full meal~

Final verdict on Dixie's
Southern American food plus blues, country and soul music made Dixie's feel like a brief trip to the American South, right in Jeju ✨ I especially loved the combination of spicy chicken and chewy, savory mac and cheese, and the rice bowl had a generous portion that made for a filling meal.
