Picking a café near Gangnam Station is oddly stressful when you have plans there — you want it busy but not cramped, with room to sit, and if possible, good dessert too. Located near Gangnam Station, Selected Nicks isn't your typical single-floor café — the space spans multiple floors, so the scale really stands out.
Finding a spacious café in the middle of Gangnam isn't as easy as you'd think, so I liked that each floor here has its own separate space, letting you pick a seat that matches your mood.
It felt like a good place to chat comfortably with a friend, or to take a breather in the middle of a date.
Don't forget to head up to the rooftop
Best of all — there's a rooftop space if you go all the way up! You can catch an open, breezy mood for a moment between city buildings, so on a nice day I'd really recommend heading up to the rooftop. Drink coffee inside, then grab some photos on the rooftop — now that's the perfect course 😉👍
So many kinds of tiramisu
What caught my eye most at Selected Nicks was, of course, the tiramisu. It's not just one or two options — there's classic tiramisu, banana tiramisu, chocolate banana tiramisu, pistachio tiramisu, Dubai chewy tiramisu (Dubai-style knafeh-chocolate tiramisu), and more, enough variety that picking by taste is genuinely fun.
Honestly, there are so many choices you end up standing there deliberating for a while 😂 So this place would suit anyone looking for a tiramisu spot or dessert café near Gangnam Station. If you're going with a group, it might be fun to each order a different flavor and share.

How did the chocolate banana tiramisu taste?
After much deliberation, I went with the chocolate banana tiramisu. Chocolate and banana are honestly a hard combo to mess up, and adding tiramisu on top hit exactly right for someone like me who loves sweet desserts.
The tiramisu scooped up soft and smooth, with the sweet banana flavor and rich chocolate coming through together, so every bite felt pretty satisfying. Rather than just being straight-up sweet, it had layers of flavor that paired well with coffee too 😋

Since there's such a variety of tiramisu, next time I'd like to try the pistachio or Dubai chewy tiramisu I missed out on this time. The chocolate banana tiramisu was so good that I'm already wondering what flavor to try next 😆
