Cheongdam bar for black raspberry highball and wine: Osa Cheongdam

On a day with great weather, my husband and I went looking for a good Cheongdam spot and ended up booking Osa Cheongdam! Honestly, when people think of Cheongdam bars, a few names always come to mind, right? Even sitting in the open seating, the vibe was really good 👍 It's perfect for a visit after work in the evening — the atmosphere was so nice I have to recommend Osa Cheongdam!

Where is Osa Cheongdam, and is there parking?

Osa Cheongdam is on the 2nd floor at 37 Seolleung-ro 152-gil, Gangnam-gu, Seoul, 491m on foot from Apgujeongrodeo Station Exit 3. It's open daily from 5:00 PM to 2:00 AM, with last order at 12:30 AM. Valet parking is available! We used the valet and had a comfortable meal.

Osa Cheongdam is on the 2nd floor! It's not that far from Apgujeongrodeo Station, so it wasn't hard to find at all.

Private rooms, open seats and the mood at Osa Cheongdam

We had a reservation, and there turned out to be a lot of private rooms. There's open seating and separate rooms too, so it had that Cheongdam izakaya feel while still letting you choose a room or the outdoor seats depending on the occasion!

You can pick your seat depending on the number of people or the mood of the gathering, so it seemed really versatile.

The outdoor seats with a retractable roof

When we first walked in, the roof was closed like this, but it turns out the roof actually opens! The atmosphere was incredible..! There was a lovely gentle breeze that day, it was so nice ㅜㅜ Once the roof opened it got even better ㅜㅜ

Black raspberry highball and a glass of Chardonnay

At Osa Cheongdam the drinks came out first! I ordered the boknyeoja (Korean black raspberry) highball. It paired really well with the shimesaba boujuzushi too. I also asked if they had glass wine, and they said they only carry white!

This Chardonnay went so well with the atmosphere, and with the side dishes below too ㅠ.ㅠ

The wine we had that day was Chardonnay!

Since we were in the outdoor seats, they even brought us a blanket and mosquito repellent.. so thoughtful ㅜ0ㅜ

How were the mackerel pressed sushi and Korean beef motsu nabe?

What we ordered at Osa Cheongdam was the shimesaba boujuzushi and the Korean beef motsu nabe! The shimesaba boujuzushi comes in perfect one-bite pieces — the mackerel was cured really well so there was zero fishy smell, and it went perfectly with the rice.

The Korean beef motsu nabe had a broth that was really rich and deep,

and there was no gamy smell at all, so my spoon kept going back for more. My husband kept saying how good the broth was too! Such a hearty, satisfying dish ㅠ.ㅜ

Final verdict: is Osa Cheongdam worth it for a private-room night out?

We really enjoyed the meal! To talk about the atmosphere once more, the interior is clean and stylish, so it felt great for a date and also comfortable for a relaxed drink with friends. The tables were spaced generously too, so we could talk without worrying about the next table — I really liked that.

Group bookings are possible, reservations are available, and the men's and women's restrooms are separate, so it was comfortable to enjoy in every way. Last order at 12:30 AM was also a plus, letting us enjoy the evening at a relaxed pace until late. If you want a quiet drink in a great atmosphere, I really recommend this place. We'll definitely be back 🥂
